Reaper had found such a place to be beautiful. Bones scattered everywhere, he had the urge to take a few skulls and whatnot with him before he left. However, that's not why he was here. He was here to spar. To train. Get grow stronger in his fighting abilities. He wasn't in Seether anymore and knew he had to keep up his training in order to survive. So, he lifted his head towards the sky and let out a summoning call. A call that beckoned someone to come spar, for friendly sake that was. Moloch circled above in the sky, watching the young Bloodjaw carefully. Once the howl was completed, Reaper would send and wait patiently for his opponent to arrive.

Seiko hadn't been confined to the lands of Tojo-Kai for long before she was allowed to roam freely again. As she and her siblings grew older the range at which they were free to explore only grew, and especially now that'd gotten off her father's shit list she was determined to work to make him proud in whatever way she could. Being more proactive about her training and ensuring she had a leg up over her brothers and sisters was one of the main ways she could see to do that.

Making her way a good trek away from home, she was in search of an opponent when she heard a call requesting just that. The timing was perfect, and the girl made her way to the challenger, trying not to seem overeager as he came into view. As she moved into view she lowered her head in a respectful bow, wanting her opponent to know she had the same intentions as she did.

"A spar, nothing more. You can go first." The truth was that she wasn't so certain about her skills when it came to fighting a stranger, and she wanted to be sure she was prepared, as she settled into a more defensive stance and watched him unblinkingly.

Reaper was surprised when a pup came into view. He would give them a respectful nod of his head and motion Moloch to stand by. "Of course. Just good fun." He assured them with a smile and he meant it. He wouldn't harm a pup nor go too hard in this spar against them either. He had manners after all. He checked his defenses to make sure they were in order. He widened his stance just a bit for balance, his tail raised along equal with his spine to add to his balance. His claws dug into the earth for stability. His ears tucked to protect them from being nicked or chewed on. He tucked his chin to his throat to protect his vitals.

"Ready?" He asked politely, waiting for a moment for their response before starting. Repeat charged forwards and at the last minute, swerved to the left until his body was perpendicular to his opponent. He splayed his maws open and his fangs attempted to grab the scruff of the young wolf. He hoped with his combined momentum and weight that he would topple to the youngster to the ground.

Though Seiko didn't show it outwardly, on the inside she was anxious about the fight that began to unfold. Not to the point of being frantic about it, but she didn't know whether or not she'd be able to hold her own against this stranger - but even if not, she knew this was all part of training, all steps to growing stronger. Reaper confirmed her intentions and she nodded acknowledgment before they began.

Studying the other wolf carefully, she nodded to confirm that she was ready before he charged her. Though she watched his movements like a hawk, she couldn't predict every single way he might move, so she hunkered down and hoped that was enough to keep her balance as he attacked. He didn't just attack straight on though, instead swerving to her right and aiming to grab hold of her scruff. Not quite fully grown yet, he still had some height on her, making the maneuver a successful one.

She took a moment to react before moving, accidentally giving him time to really bare down on her. As her body was pushed toward the ground, she fought against his weight, hoping she could push up into his hold and force him to back down. As she did that, her jaws parted and aimed to seek hold of one of his forelegs, bearing down on the attack.

Reaper's attack had landed and he felt the fur of his opponent grip within his maws. He bit down with force but was careful not to cause any real damage, given the fact that they were a pup and he had steel caps on his fangs. However, his attack wasn't without flaw and he felt them push back against his weight. Soon enough, he felt fangs sink into his left forearm. He grunted muffly with the scruff in his maws.

Reaper would keep his defended in check throughout the spar. His limb that was compromised stayed on the ground. He dared not lift it and give his opponent a further advantage. Instead, he used his free front limb to attempt to wrap around the neck of the younger pup and add weight onto them. He was trying to push all his weight forwards to topple them over to the ground, given the hold he had he knew they were already struggling to push against his weight. He was hoping this combined extra effort would be successful in the long run.

It was clear given how Reaper was approaching the fight that the older wolf wasn't trying to hurt her, which was comforting. A good, clean fight was what she'd anticipated and was exactly what she was being given. Pushing up a little harder into his bite, she hoped she could stand strong against his weight and keep herself from toppling over entirely. Trying to jerk away was an option, but she knew in a real fight where the stakes were higher that she could hurt herself in the process by trying to pull a move like that.

She wasn't initially sure what to do when Reaper's paw moved around her neck, trying to pin her down further. Still her bite held strong, trying to bare down a little bit harder onto his other forelimb - enough to cause minor pain, enough to hopefully force him to release her, but definitely not enough to cause any lasting damage. But she felt her stance beginning to slip, her legs threatening to give out against him - so she gave one final hard push forward and up, hoping to dislodge his hold.
