Setekh let Talyssa's words settle in the air, their weight palpable. The Ivory God considered her message, the interplay of control and guidance -- simple words that could have been scripture if written down correctly. He took a moment, eyes of molten fire reflecting the light as they met hers.
He gave a respectful nod. "Your lesson is well received." Better to compliment her, so he might linger around the group ever longer. He rolled his neck, eyes catching sight of the woman named Elysia. The surname Saxe was known to him, but did she know him? So far he could not tell.
No matter. Setekh cast another glance at the youngest among them, the girl with golden markings. The delight she stirred in him was proof of the nuanced dance between intuition and control. Here was a new mystery, a fresh challenge, and he felt a thrill at the prospect of uncovering it.

Annwyn's gaze remained steady, absorbing Talyssa's words. She could obviously understand the significance of intuition. but knew its double-edged nature well. Internally, she acknowledged the truth in Talyssa's lesson, yet she remained cautious. Careful with her expressions as she mulled over the application of the golden woman’s words. Intuition had been her guide and her betrayer. It led her through the shadows and into the light, but it had also dragged her into…. perilous depths. As the scholar’s eyes scanned the group, Annwyn's expression remained inscrutable. Taking her leave without so much as a dip of her skull. She would take this lesson, add it to her arsenal, and continue to navigate her path with her own instincts above all.

And just like that she was back to questioning the reliability of the woman teaching this group of ragtag wanderers. Because if her intuition wasn’t supposed to control her then why was it there? Why would it be a part of her. It didn’t make any sense at all.
Ely watched the woman walk and then sit as if she were the queen of the rotting corpses she was perched upon. While she talked nonsense she would certainly have made a wonderful saxe in another life the way she so nonchalantly desecrated the graves beneath them.
The woman concluded the lesson with some final statement that only added to the confusion Ely felt over it. But it gave her plenty to consider. Standing slowly Ely stretched her legs out and motioned for Nila to follow her.

Nila didn’t know how her sorrow for those that were departed was her intuition speaking to her. Or how it would have control over her. She was well aware there was nothing she could do for the dead. It’s not like she believed she could save them or anything. Scrunching her eyebrows in confusion she continued to listen, hoping to get clarification.
Unfortunately for Nila no true clarification was given. Instead more questions were raised for the earthen toned girl. Because all her intuition seemed to do was cause her confusion and inner turmoil. She wanted to ask the woman questions but her escort made it known that it was time to go. So all she could do was stand up and follow.
