In the wee twilight hours of the night, the deer stumbled through the quieter part of the Armada woods. Here, where the tangled, gnarled branches of the Mile High Woods were the thickest and least welcoming. Its gait was unpredictable and haphazardly as its body smacked one tree, and then another. Before slowly, and unavoidably, it sank to the forest floor. Its fragile, thin limbs were a tangled mess beneath it. Just above the fallen deer, whose shallow breathing indicated distress, was a tall and ramrod straight tree. Oddly so for these parts of the woods.

The tree itself was the corpse of a once sturdy oak. Now, there was a veil of sorrow across its limp branches. The leaves, once vibrant, had turned a sickly yellow, mottled with dark spots. The bark of the tree had become a brittle, fragile texture that was covered in patches of grey and black. At the soft thump of the deers body beneath it, small flaky bits of bark crumbled away, scattering to the ground and wind. The deer took one last, rattling breath, and its head slumped down against the fallen, decaying leaves and the forest was still once more.

What’s going on?
A blight has entered Mile High Woods! The affected trees are growing sick and fragile, with leaves of mottled yellow. The forest critters are experiencing Woodland Fits, and cases of prey with delirium, hallucinations, convulsions, mild fever, and vomiting are appearing all through the Mile High Woods!

What does this mean for you?
Will your wolf help examine this sudden sickness? Will they themselves get sick? Perhaps they need to investigate what this will mean for the Armada. How to deal with it in the now, and the consequences for the packs future.

Zion will try to heal sick animals and Andromeda will investigate what options the pack has.

Signing Mortis up to get deathly sick with full blown hallucinations

Pyr can do some investigating of the lands! (And maybe get sick herself)

Ignita will work on finding the extent of the blight and ways to stop the spread. She may get sick.

Ollie will help tend to the patients but will eventually get moderately sick. >:3

Vesper will be a healer assist and wont get sick. Maybe she'll have to help a sick Oleander this time around? ;)

Wilder will help putting down animals that are sick and burning their corpses

Spider will be trying to stop the spread and hunting down/burning infected animals. they may get sick.

Casimir will be setting traps to cage and cull infected prey & animals to prevent the spread to wolves as bests he can. Will be setting up wards around armada and inside of it. May aim to create a quarantine within the pack in regards to infected members

Gossy will assist with the healing and likely become ill herself.

Tethys is getting sick :)

Saia will help with the ill members but miraculously not get sick, she may also have some thoughts on how the pack should handle the situation (ie investigating options). She would also help with hunting sick prey and burning the bodies
