Quote:
It was time. The pack had been warned in the meeting, and hopefully the time that had passed was enough for them to get their things together and rally up enough to make the move. Chrysanthe would awake a bit nervous, but ready to start the day. It would be a new beginning, and whether things went good or bad, they would change - and she would do everything within her power to make sure the change was for the better. It was the break of dawn, and the stars were just starting to twinkle out of the sky. Soon the sun would provide a bit of warmth to the traveling lupine, and as they made their way south, they would find themselves in a more moderate climate. She was excited for the change, although there would surely be times that she missed the snow that lightly fell over the plains.

She was leaving so much behind - she had grown up on the mainland, she had become beta, and then alpha here. Her father and mentor had both died here, they had stuck it out through the territory flooding, they had stayed despite so much that had happened. Leaving her father's grave behind was not easy, but the move was essential. Too many had died on these lands, too much blood had been shed, and too much had been seen by enemy eyes. This could not remain their home...

And so she would raise her head and howl, a long call for all of the members of Valhalla to awaken - if any of them had been asleep at all. Perhaps they were just as excited about the move as she, and had spent the last couple of nights with little sleep. Once her song came to a close, she would begin her short trek to the borders. This would be the final time that she crossed these borders for a while - and the last time that she called this place home. "I hope your presence comes with me." She would whisper to Cairo, remembering the dreams of him that she had been plagued with around the time of the siege. He had looked out for her then, she hoped that he would continue to do so. If not for his guidance, for the knowledge that he still lived on in spirit.

ooc: this thread will be a simple exit to the island c: you can post here, and in the thread in the new territory, or just in the thread in the new territory - but no more threads should be made in Veronica Plains as Valhalla ^-^~

Seraphine had been on the borders before the howl was given, mismatched orbs watching the changing sky. Once again she had to move to a new home, leaving the last behind for some reason that was much disappointing. A heavy sigh would escape her jaws as eyelids closed, processing another change in her life. Would it always be like this? Moving from place to place, unable to settle down and live in that same place till she grew old...

Not only that, but the girl felt herself changing as well... Seraphine was beginning to feel out of place, like she shouldn't be with this pack, allowed to mingle with the others. The connection she felt with her father was fading, and she was seeing less and less of him around. And Sephiroth... she wasn't too sure about.

With a deep breath she would finally pick herself up and head in the direction of the Alphess's call, silent, face showing no emotion. After a few minutes of jigging she would finally slow down to a walk once her form was in sight at the border, giving a small dip of her head out of respect, stopping a few feet away. It was time to go...

The time had come. Sephiroth had been ready; waiting for the time to leave. He had been sitting at the borders closest to the shores of which they would travel to their new home, the cold morning mist lightly draped his pelt. The cold air making his breath visible with each breath he took. At last, Chrysanthe had arrived, and shortly after he would see Seraphine. Stepping from the forest shadows, he'd approach them without a word. This morning was a time for mourning, for the Valhallans would be leaving their old home to start new somewhere else. And although he had not been long here, he felt that it was still home to him, for it was the place he had been accepted into a family that he never thought existed.

Glancing toward Seraphine, he gave her a light nudge on her right shoulder. Comforting, however, it would seem to comfort him more then her. He was always nervous of new change, he was always used to the same thing. Back home, it was training day in and day out. Everyday since he had come of age to even start. And since then, he had traveled, met Seraphine, been accepted and met a few others within his new 'family' as well as some strangers. And now, here he was. A warrior in a new position, fighting to protect for good instead of the mercenary work he had been trained to do since a young age. Shaking his head a bit, he would begin to follow his Alphess, dual toned gaze occasionally glancing discreetly towards Seraphine, as if she would suddenly disappear from his sights.
