For some reason, the young Magdalene could not find sleep. No matter how many times she tossed and turned, she would end up lying on her back, blinking up at the den's ceiling. Not even the close proximity of her siblings would alleviate the itchy feeling of unnamed emotions from her body. Tired and frustrated, the pup slides from the pile of siblings and slinks out the door as if she couldn't be noticed. Perhaps she would blame it on the nubs that were slowly sprouting from the top of her head. They weren't like the large ones her mother had, but skinnier. Maybe if she found a good rock, she could scratch away the itchiness she felt and she knew just the place!

Having never actually been to the Rock Garden before, it took her a moment once she crossed the land bridge from Alias Island to locate the expanse of grass and towering rocks. The sight was impressive and a perfect location for her to go exploring in the middle of the night. Clouds gave way to a starry night and a full moon that guided her way across rolling hills. Nocturnal animals hovered behind rocks and floated through the sky. Their occasional screeching would cause her fur to bristle, but nothing that sent her running for home.

"Maybe this one will do," Magdalene whispers to herself as she lowers her head and begins to itch her growing antler nubs against the cool stone.

"Magdalene"

The purple pup was also awake when she should be asleep, finding more interest in watching the night sky over close those hot pink eyes and lose the beautify of those many stars that adorned the skies. Yet there wasn't a set sensation these gave her other than interest to simply observe and find her mind fly along the clouds that passed over the night. She hasn't even noticed how long she had been in such an state of bliss, of deep distraction.

Quiet was the night until the sound of steps broke her attention, finally dragging it back to reality. She spotted her sister heading somewhere. It might was none of her business but she felt like she wanted to also find herself exploring out under the watch of those millions of stars.

Quietly she followed the giant of her sister with a quick yet even pace, crossing the bridge. This was her second time doing so. As they arrive she stops watching her sister scratching her head into the rock, she said nor did anything about it, limiting herself to simply watch. She sat down on her spot keeping a quiet gaze over her sister's form.

Lost in her own journey, Magdalene doesn't notice Astra following her. The sound of her own paws through the soft grass muffled the smaller ones of her sister. Caught up in the rubbing of her antler nubs against the stone, eyes closed tightly, she lets out a satisfied hum. It sure did feel good to alleviate the itch!

After a few moments, she thinks she hears something nearby. Peeking one eye open with her head still pressed against the rock, she finally notices her smaller sister not far off. A surprised gasp leaves her as she stands up and backs away, turning to face the purple form of Astra. "Oh, I didn't see you!" Mags exclaims, her tail wagging happily behind her as a smile forms over her muzzle.

"Couldn't sleep either?" She asks before turning back to the expansive field around them. "Isn't this place cool? There's so many rocks!" Mags is eager to explore. Her paws dance, taking her away from Astra and toward a small boulder. Scrambling up it until she's perched on top, she circles around until she's facing her sister once more. "Don't I look cool from up here!" She shouts out with a laugh.

Astra moved her eyes to the surroindings, the quietness was almost palpable. Thick, and it gave a sensation the purple wolf was finding very appealing, it seemed she was the weird/quiet type of her litter, always finding words rest hidden. It should not be confused with being afraid, no, Astra simply didn't like nor felt like talking too much. Preferring to show her point with expression and other physical ways. But she was capable of talking, just not as a normal wolf would.

Camly her hot pink eyes fell back to her colorful sister, taking in her many expressions. And even more the one she made when her presence was finally noticed. Her tail wagged a couple of times before returning to its still self, as a soft show of her slight excitement to be spotted. She nodded at the question, it was indeed a sight for sore eyes though she couldn't come up with a way to express that. She narrows her eyes as she saw her climb into a boulder. "Yes," Was all she said, not really feeling a way towards such view yet she didn't want to leave her sister hanging.

Lucky for Astra, Mags didn't require anyone to really talk back to her. With her mind going a mile a minute, eyes sweeping over the rolling hills, she barely noticed that Astra had only said one word. Rather, she was too busy thinking. Thinking such things as what is behind that rock over there? Do other animals live here too? The questions roll on and on in her head as she spins another circle on the boulder. Her paws slip on the smooth surface, but she holds her position firm.

"You think I can get up on that bigger boulder?" Mags questions aloud as she lifts a paw to point toward a taller boulder not far off. It's clearly too tall for her puppy sized form to jump on, but it wouldn't hurt to try! A delighted giggle escapes her darkened lips as she slips down from the boulder she was currently perched on to bunny hop her way over to the other one. "C'mon Astra! I wanna look at the whole field!" She calls out over her shoulder to her smaller, quieter sister.
