Riv stared up at the sky not paying attention to where he was going for the moment. Ears pricked in every direction listening to the falls along with any other creatures he could pick up. There was a cloud he seemed enamored by, only interrupted when he crashed into a tree softly in front of him. Riv jumped back and shook off his pelt, best start looking for where he was going right.

He’d spent a fair amount of time exploring the lands he grew up in. Despite this he felt horribly behind. In his training and anything else. It was like he couldn’t get a grip on his life or something like that. His tail flicked to and fro the long feline appendage fluffed up while he circled around the tree. What would it take for him to ask his pack mates for a little bit of help.

She patrolled around the territory, making sure things were safe and well for the pack she had opted to guard for her family. At least for the time being. Things had changed. Things continued to change. She didn't know when or if Haydee or her mother would be taking over again, or if they even wanted to. There appeared to be a great deal of healing that her sister needed before she was confident enough to try again, she was sure. And her mother? Well...Bellamy had left to go North for a time, and with her mother getting older, she wasn't so sure that she'd be taking over again. At least not that she could see. Still, Saga was doing her best to keep things together, and she had a great deal to learn. She couldn't just slap band-aids on everything and call it good, after all. There had finally been a small break in the weather as of late. What with the constant rain and flooding, the ground had been mushy and squelchy so far this season, and she wasn't sure when it would let up. Granted, she didn't mind the cooler and wetter season, but the humidity was getting to her. Definitely not the sort of place a bear like her should be living, but alas, she soldiered on for the pack, at least. Catching the scent of a familiar yet unfamiliar face, Saga spotted the odd-tailed wolf, and so she decided to approach. She hadn't seen much of him, so now was a good time as any. "Hello, sorry but I don't remember your name...guess I've been pretty busy so I haven't really met everyone yet," Lame excuse, she knew. Before leadership, she was often in her own world doing her own thing. But now? She had to know everyone. "Speak"

How odd had it felt to know that he was a part of a family but not quiet. His head popped up when he saw the polar bear. As he knew her, Saga, one of his adopted sisters. At the time of his adoption though Bellamy had been very busy, life had thrown he curveballs just like it had with him. Riv was happy regardless it was something he couldn’t help with his disposition. "Rivaxsaurus, you can call me Riv. Actually I’m one of Bellamy’s adopted sons." he pawed the air for a moment in a gesture. "Hey since your here… Saga right?" he tried to think of what it was he wanted to say.

"How does one get busy exactly? I can’t seem to find myself engaged in…. Anything." he lowered his ears but perked his leopard tail a bit higher. "I haven’t had any training and if I did I failed at it horribly. I want to help." Riv felt stuck in his own way. Though his questions came as fast conjecture so he hoped his speech didn’t seem flustered. Man was she big though!

Ah yes, of course. She should've known all along who he was, but she hadn't spent a whole lot of time mingling during her cubhood and there were always new faces in the family that she forgot who was who, had become overwhelmed, and had simply forgotten or got too overwhelmed by the fact she was a completely different species then all of them. Sorry, I should've known but, well..." She wouldn't go into detail at this point, all she could do was move forward and get to know better those in her family and pack now. He asked her name, and it seemed she hadn't been the only one to have forgotten a name, though at least he was aware of hers! She nodded to his question as she heard him out. Honestly, his question was valid. She had the same trouble not all that long ago, and perhaps this could be an opportunity to get to know each other better and work towards a goal, not just for him, but for both of them!
