"Prince of Darkness?" Fuck that, I'm the King

Spring was rolling over in Summer now and with that came not only warmer weather, but also the bears were waking and on the hunt for food. They could hardly care less about the borders of a wolf pack if there was food nearby, and the one that wandered through the pines was no different. A lone berry bush had a bear half buried inside of it, plucking off each and every berry it had grown. Dracun had been watching it for the last half hour or so, wondering if it was just going to eat the berries and leave or if he needed to call for help to take down the bear before it caused any damage.

However, when it finished eating the berries, it didn't turn to leave. Instead, it huffed at the air a few times and stared to head a little deeper into the territory. Dracun couldn't let it get any further and suddenly jumped out from his hiding place and called for help. He couldn't take on a whole bear on his own no matter how much he wanted to, he just hoped someone came soon.

The bear, having obviously heard the howl, turned and roared at Dracun. His direction changed and his pace quickened until he was charging the young boy but he wasn't afraid! At least on the outside, inside he was scared shitless! A fucking bear was chasing him! But when someone did show up, the last thing he wanted was to look terrified and like this wasn't his idea and that he didn't have everything under control.

The summer weather was interesting up here in the pines. Xina was investigating why the trees had these little bright green tips on each branch when she heard an alarming call from her Brother! OOO! Was there a trespasser? Could they eat them?

Xina abandoned her discovery to the delightful idea of sinking her teeth into something meaty. She heard a familiar lumbering crash of undergrowth before she broke cover and found the beast bearing down on her brother, Dacun. HAH! A big dumb bear! She already killed one with Mom before! Her mouth salivated at the flash of memory. Never mind Mom did all the work and Xina went into blackout blood lust.

She snarled and launched herself at the bear's wide side. Giving her brother more time to react. The beast spun its large head toward her and thrashed with her teeth sunk into its thick fur, finding purchase on its skin and attempting to tear it away with a furious effort.
