Ikimos children birthday!

It was so hard to believe that a whole year had already passed since welcoming their family into this world. It felt like time had moved so slowly before they were here and now that they were it felt like it was flying by. He had spent the last few months secretly having gifts specially crafted for their girls and training a new companion for their son and finally as he returned from a quick trip to Auster to pick up the last missing piece he was ready to present them with their gifts. With Ikigai's help he put together a special dinner for them all with the most tender meats he could get his paws on, a selection of different vegetables and fruits he had gathered on his recent travels, and a basket of sweet baked goods he had gotten from The Hallows while he was there. He knew it was only their first birthday and there would be many more birthdays to celebrate in the future, but this was a big milestone and Dominus was finally beginning to feel well after being ill for so long. There was a lot to celebrate.
With everything laid out in the living area of their spacious den with a couple of hours of daylight left, he settled in next to his beautiful mate with a contented sigh, giving her a smile. "I guess we should get the birthday girls and boy in here so we can get this party started, hm?" He chuckled and gave her a quick kiss before he tipped his head back to call for them, hoping that they weren't too far away so their dinner wouldn't get cold. He probably should have warned them not to go far, but he wanted this to be a surprise–including the gifts that were wrapped and hidden off to the side.
