Sharing borders with two packs was rough, but when one changed the scent of their border, it became concerning. Who was this pack that she now shared a border with? First it was the seemingly neutral Polaris, led by a polar bear, and now what? She worried they'd been taken over by Erebos, it seemed like something he would try to do. So with haste she made her way across the western field of her territory, coming upon the borders and standing on her side, but dangerously close to the edge. Too close if the land she stood in wasn't hers, at least.
Calling for whomever was the leader of this pack, Widow hoped that she wouldn't be left waiting long. Each passing moment, however, she felt more and more impatient. Would she have to worry about this pack, or had it just simply switched paws? It wasn't like the scent of the borders had completely changed anyway, and the scent of the man she met on the beach was strong. Was he the new leader?

This winter was harsh and cruel, they would need to shore up their stores and make some trades soon. Trade with what, remains to be seen... Eltrys was nosing through the storage, intent on taking stock of what they had.
A call entered the air, if he wasn't mistaken it was demanding and short, a twinge of panic. His brow furrowed with confusion and alarm as he loped quickly to respond. The ice crunched under his feet as he approached and found the dire woman he had met on the beach before he was the alpha. She seemed panicked, leaning nearly over the border.
"Widow?" He called as he came within earshot, his ear twitched as he came to a stand. The short king that he was, looked up at her milken silver eyes like pools.
"Are you well?" He asked warmly, yet cautiously. She must have noticed the change at the borders but he wanted to make sure there was nothing else to address first.
