Once he had grown comfortable in this place, Kat found himself returning again to hone his skills. It took him a while to get used to new things. The first time he'd arrived, his skin had prickled with the sensation that everyone was watching him. But that simply wasn't true - the other wolves here came for the singular purpose of sparring and honing their skills, at least from what he could see. If it were up to Seiko, they would methodically spar each and every one of their siblings. Right down the line, then rinse and repeat. It would help their own training as much as it would their siblings. But life wasn't quite so easy to plan, nor were their siblings ever that easy to keep track of- that was the reality when it came to having as many siblings as they did. So when Seiko was able to find one, and they weren't occupied, it was only natural they try to corner them into a spar. Fortunately they weren't the only one with that idea in mind today. Hearing Kat's call ring out from the Boneyard, Seiko was quick to hurriedly head that direction, abandoning their patrols. Sparring was more productive, anyway. It wasn't like there were a lot of wayward souls wandering close to their borders these days, not with as far south as they were in Auster. They slowed as they approached, wondering just how close they could get to their brother before he noticed. When the distance was a bit shorter, all at once Seiko made to charge him. Usually they fought opponents who knew they were coming, but Seiko supposed they could both benefit from something a bit different. Think fast. Kat whirled, falling right into Seiko's trap. If only he'd been paying closer attention! He had been so worried, so caught up inside his own head... He'd played perfectly into their hands. This was pathetic. He clearly had been slacking on his training, after all. Now that was on his back with his front leg clasped in his sibling's jaws, he went for the next closest available target: the soft underside of Seiko's neck. Kat leaned up to try and clasp his massive jaws around their neck, just tight enough to get their own hold on his leg to relax so he could free himself.
