I'd Have Two Nickles

Nothing like seizing contractions to wake a woman from a dead slumber. She had gotten huge, hidden away, not sure who she'd tell or how to explain it. She knew many had assumed she had gotten drunk and fucked a man last time, but Sparrow, respectfully, would never. It was hard, knowing Recluse wouldn't be here to see it. She liked to think that somehow, in her half asleep state, that maybe Recluse could see through her eyes. She didn't have long to ponder before her focus was out the window and she was left going through the motion of bringing children into the world. By the time she was done, she was exhausted. There were five of them. Five fucking puppies nestled into her side. Sparrow laid her head back down, no loving meal for her to nourish with, no healer with helpful herbs. Just her, her five pups who at least seemed to be more mortal than ghost, and a wife who was literally a world away.
