Silas was a bit late to the party, he could see many other pairs of wolves near the shoreline, worried about the same thing he was. He and Bramble found their way here, in the strange strip of land that was off the path near the sand. This strange, almost expanding, of the land along with the subdued sun had the aurora marked boy on edge. He figured that everyone else felt similar to him as well. The happenings were unlike anything he had ever experienced before. None of it seemed natural.

He looked to his sister as they went along, despite being younger he still felt protective over his sister. The ground seemed disturbed, and even more surprising was the resonating he felt from beneath. From deep deep in the earth. "This is all so strange." Silas muttered as he stumbled over a lump of earth. "I wonder…" He continued mostly to himself, before he set his paws to work moving the earth beneath them.

The scenery had changing seemingly indefinitely. When she thought that perhaps the red sky would turn pale once more the next day, it proved it would not. That reason alone unsettled Bramble, sending a shiver down her spine every time she glanced up at the darkened red moon. She wouldn't let it deter her from venturing outside. Not when her siblings were willing to go and venture out to the odd, winding channels that had risen along Shimmering Shore. Following Silas dutifully in a companionable silence, one might find it odd that she wasn't speaking. Truthfully, she was too unsettled to really find the words for conversation.

When Silas tripped over a mound, Bramble let out a gasp. She too had began to feel the deep, deep rumbles from below and thought maybe Silas had tripped because of them. "Careful," she warns quietly, her own teal gaze drawing down to the disturbed grass and dirt at their paws. "What if it collapses?" Bramble can't hide the strain of worry in her tone as she too felt the urge to dig. Without much thought, her paws begin to move by Silas', digging down into the ground.

"Bramble"

bramble's companions are to be assumed near her unless stated otherwise.
