ooc - Doing a trespass attempt with the form :D
Mother had asked him to do some scouting. She was planning a raid, and his task was to try and go and see who would be worth their time and scouting any potential goods that would be beneficial to the pack. What with the summer heat and the strange red skies above, Grim wasted no time in heading North. There were a couple of packs up this way, and so he made his way to the first one he came across. He knew little of it, but that didn't matter to him. In and out. At least, that's what he planned on. Did he have a plan in the event he got caught red-handed? Probably not. But he'd come up with something if he had to. He slunk toward the borders, the crimson night sky aiding in hiding his thin, midnight form. Almost like a shadow himself.
He scented the ground, noting the many scents surrounding the borders here. There seemed to be many living here, and he was curious. The effigies that lined the perimeter were even more curious to him, and while they didn't scare him away, he was interested even more. Insomnia was the only pack he knew that did something similar, but this? This was close enough. Grinning, he swept along the perimeter first, crimson gaze searching the other side, looking between the sparse trees that dotted the territory. It was late enough, but if they were anything like Insomnia so far, he was sure someone would be up. Patrolling maybe.
Slinking toward the border, he crossed the markers, using the trees to aid in concealing himself. The scent on his coat betrayed that of carrion, blending with the rotten smell of the effigies that dotted this packs border.
