Ears still ringing, Iscariot moves from the fray. Her job was done, now it's up to the rest of the Syndicate fighters to do theirs. Fuck, why did it hurt this badly? Both bats returning to her shoulders, where they'd rest until dusk, their displeasure at being out in the daylight mimicked Riot's own.
Moving to the water's edge, drawing to the edge of the Sound, Iscariot lowers her still bleeding muzzle. No telling what blood in the water would attract, but she'll be fine in the shallows. Washing out the wound, feeling the sting of the saltwater and the cool breeze, it's enough to ground her. As the adrenaline drained from her system, every part of the girl is starting to hurt.
Even if she wasn't fighting for her life this time, the raid had stirred up feelings Riot would prefer to keep buried. Put down, sealed away in a box. For as much as the girl wants to seal herself away too... no. No, she'd pretend that she's fine, as she scrubbed the dirt from the wound. Face first, before carefully lowering her hindquarters into the not-too-deep water. Going for the back was fighting dirty, jackasses.

The call for a raid was a perfect excuse to slip out and poke around the pack territory without anyone harassing her in the process. She liked Demelza well enough that she hardly wanted to get the girl in trouble, so she had slipped out while she was busy... cleaning or something.
The distant call of ocean birds was what drew her out, the tang of salt in the air smelling almost like home, were it not for the frigid bite in the wind. Distant splashing caught her ear, and she supposed her time free was drawing to a rapid close as seafoam eyes fell on a woman as small as her big sister, and so she knew to not underestimate her ferocity. "That looks nasty, yer need assistance?" After all she wasn't sure if she was meant to be helping all the wolves in this pack or just mister flaming stick up his ass, and having been raised surrounded by healers, she knew her way around cleaning a wound. Surely it was best to query, just in case...

Could never be too careful, especially in a vulnerable position like this one. Hell, couldn't be too careful with enemies banging down their doors, as they were in the Pines. Though Iscariot had taken care to be as far away from the threat as possible now that her job was done, she wouldn't allow her guard to drop. Hell, not like she was that much safer, with Sephiran stalking around. Kaino was still tied up in the raid, and not having her usual buffer companion around was... hard. Harder than she wanted it to be, though being agreeable wasn't in her plans.
Perhaps that's why the girl's appearance from a direction Riot didn't anticipate was so jarring. Encrusted in crystal but looking a bit like a petri dish (were those mushrooms?)-- had the blow she'd taken to the head caused more damage than she'd initially thought? The Syndicate didn't take kindly to intruders, but then... why did she look like she was offering help in earnest?
Distrustful to her core, Iscariot's posture goes defensive. Bristling, turning to shield her wounded back and shoulder from the imagined threat. As she moves, Riot visibly flinches. Two fights down for the day, it's been a lot already. "Who are you?" Though her coat had taken on the same scent as the Pines, if the stranger had been hiding out here, then someone would have found her sooner. Then, Riot had been gone for some time. What had changed in that time?
