The pups were old enough to be out of the den (and dumped on someone else in the pack) and adventure a little. Sparrow brought them all out and called to the pack to come and meet them. They had older siblings and... well for blood relatives that was about it, but then there was everyone else they could teethe on! Sparrow had told the pups the first to win in a fight against a grown up would get a special prize, and hoped that wouldn't end badly enough to send them to live with their mother Recluse too early... Regardless, today was a day to celebrate and meet everyone!

Bog burst out of the den before any of his siblings could beat him to the punch. Mom said they could leave the den today and he never intended to go back. He had been so bored! Bored his whole life! He had the ear of some creature his mother had brought back as a chewy ticked safely in between his teeth, mouthing it around puffed breaths as he circled around the den. His mother was barely two steps out of the den before he had run ten circles around the thing. He trampled plants and small bugs and maybe a sibling or two on his way out and had no intentions of ever stopping any time soon.
