ooc - Doing a trespass attempt with the form :D

Mother had asked him to do some scouting. She was planning a raid, and his task was to try and go and see who would be worth their time and scouting any potential goods that would be beneficial to the pack. What with the summer heat and the strange red skies above, Grim wasted no time in heading North. There were a couple of packs up this way, and so he made his way to the first one he came across. He knew little of it, but that didn't matter to him. In and out. At least, that's what he planned on. Did he have a plan in the event he got caught red-handed? Probably not. But he'd come up with something if he had to. He slunk toward the borders, the crimson night sky aiding in hiding his thin, midnight form. Almost like a shadow himself.

He scented the ground, noting the many scents surrounding the borders here. There seemed to be many living here, and he was curious. The effigies that lined the perimeter were even more curious to him, and while they didn't scare him away, he was interested even more. Insomnia was the only pack he knew that did something similar, but this? This was close enough. Grinning, he swept along the perimeter first, crimson gaze searching the other side, looking between the sparse trees that dotted the territory. It was late enough, but if they were anything like Insomnia so far, he was sure someone would be up. Patrolling maybe.

Slinking toward the border, he crossed the markers, using the trees to aid in concealing himself. The scent on his coat betrayed that of carrion, blending with the rotten smell of the effigies that dotted this packs border.

Kaino was an irritable little shit. She tried not to show that side of herself to Rogue, but it was difficult sometimes. When she was having trouble, she patrolled. That was exactly what she was doing when her pretty pink nose picked up on an anomaly in the air. The corpses that littered the border... the stench of them had come inland. It wasn't the simple shifting of the wind either. The stench was thick, as though bits of the corpses had been scraped away. It was worth investigating.

As Kaino followed the scent, the trail became thicker and thicker until... up ahead she saw a young wolf, not one of her own, slinking through the pines. The perfect opportunity to release a little steam, she thought.

Rushing up behind the darkly colored wolf, Kaino leaped, attempting to throw herself atop him while simultaneously arcing her neck downward, jaws wide, to hopefully grab a mouthful of scruff. Ears (the jackalope) darted in like lightning, thrusting his antlered head upwards towards the young brute's face to keep him from dropping his body forward.

Oops. He'd been caught. As he moved from shadow to shadow, it seemed someone had found him. They came at him without warning, the lanky yearling being shoved to the ground while some weird looking antlered rabbit came rushing up and threatened him, too. He hadn't reacted in time, but alas, what could he do? He could fight, but was it really worth trying when a shit ton more of them could come running out and gang up on him? Granted, he had little to no self preservation, but Mother had warned him of what could happen if he decided he wanted to go through with sneaking into packs. Welp, he couldn't say he wasn't warned! Did he care? Nah.

Instead he let himself go limp as he giggled, head turning up to place his eerie gaze on his attacker. "Oopsie! Grim's been caught, what now?" He questioned, though his tone was far from disappointed or scared or anything remotely close. He was amused, of course. His sickly grin widening as he waited to see what would happen next.
