Reuniting with Jack had proved to Rivin one thing; She needed to go home. Back to the Raiders, to the only family she had known. But something had pulled Rivin toward the North. Tremors in the earth suggested something moving, something dangerous. Memories of her guide, fireflies, and the lava worm she had bested rose to her mind. It left the woman feeling unsettled, as well as left her with the need to investigate. She’d given her beloved word that she’d avoid the waters of Boreas, that she would return, but before then she needed to discover more about what was going on in the world. With every step her fur prickled, that growing sense that something was terribly wrong as she entered the colder lands.
Fluffing her coat against the chill in the air, Rivin scented the air… and she froze as her heart leapt to her throat. Mixed scents, blood, and one of those that still lingered belonging to a Raider. Though Rivin hadn’t seen him for a while the red streaked femme knew his scent at once. Kenway. Afraid that she might find one of her old packmates incapacitated Rivin broke into a run to search for him. Ears flicked forward, eyes widened. “Kenway!” She barked. “If you can hear me, call out, howl, something!” If he could, anyway.

Rivin has two companions - a bobcat and a wolverine. Unless otherwise mentioned IC, assume that they are close by.

Sprawled out above ground, his cattle dogs curled close for warmth, Ken tried to take stock of his injuries. It would be the last time he dragged his drunk ass spelunking that was for sure. He wiggled his toes and frowned at the stabbing pins and needles pain. He wondered if it would eventually go away or if he'd be stuck with numb legs for the rest of his life? At least he was able to move his tail without sharp, rippling pain shooting up his spine and leaving him wanting to vomit. For now.
His head lifted when someone called his name and his cattle dogs started barking in response before he could. He sighed and tried to yell over the cacophony, "Over 'ere!" He'd stand if he could, but now the adrenalin had worn off, he didn't quite trust himself.
