If we get violent, oh yeah, we'll call it a riot
fighting & intellect seasonals, honey butt
Genesis enjoyed exploring the lands around Insomnia more than he liked being in them, and not that he had anything against the pack, he just didn't like the desert. Even just a short trip east offered lush grass, clear ponds, and ample prey. He'd heard mention of claiming a nearby territory that had plenty of nice things to offer, but he was impatient. Unfortunately, he didn't expect everywhere to be so densely fogged. Every step he took was with the hope the fog would clear, but the more steps he took the more he realized he was only getting deeper within.
Barely able to see a few inches past his nose, he could hear movement near by. He expected it to be some sort of prey, but called out instead. "Who's there?"

He had stayed near the west side of Boreas more often than not, only leaving to investigate the strange happenings going on around them. Today though the fog that settled in was thick, dense, and opaque. Settling against the earth like a low cloud, it chilled the air and made seeing near impossible. He could feel the moisture from the fog cutting through the outermost layer of his pelt, he was lucky to have such an insolated pelt. The further he traversed the clearer it became to him that the fog would probably not be letting up for some time, and he could tell the weather that followed it would more than likely be harsh and frigid. He shook his head as he freed the condensation that was collecting on his face, ears perking as he heard movement quickly followed by an all too familiar voice. A grin plastered its way onto his maw, as he let out a low growl feigning aggression before leaping at the man. Taking the lighter man off balance, and forcing him onto his back. The playful grin settled onto his face as he lowered his maw daringly close to Genesis's. "Just me." Was all that came from Epimethius at first, the fog even at this proximity barely allowing him to fully inspect the man in front of him. He shifted his weight, caging in the man but not quite squishing down onto him. His gaze flitted over Genesis again before looking back at the fog, then back to him once more. His head tilting as he thought for a moment, "Would you like to fight Gene? Afterwards I can offer my company as a prize." He purred out, the undertone of his statement was rather clear. 292/1500 "Talk"

He was not left wondering long as a golden mass charged at him, effectively tackling him to the ground and pinning him beneath him. Immediately he snarled, a warning for the brave soul, but as soon as he realized who exactly it was the snarl faded into a coy grin. A round two, perhaps, a chance for him to defeat the dog and earn his prize. Perhaps the fog could work in his favor this time, but given the man had already used it to his own advantage he decided to not get too hopeful.
"Were you following me?" he purred as he relaxed underneath the weight of heavier dog before he could ask the question he expected to follow. "And what if you win again? As if there's any chance for that to happen," he teased, but genuinely curious what he wanted. Surely the night would end the same either way, but he wanted to hear it anyway even if he wasn't going to go so easy on the man this time (as if he had the first time, but he liked to tell himself that).

Epimethius stared down at the white and black male appreciatively as he spoke, his ears perking forward as he spoke to him. Epimethius's eyes moved around Genesis's face as if he was memorizing every detail of it, maybe that was exactly what he was doing. "I didn't follow you, but if you'd like me to stay close to you in the future... that can be arranged," he murmured softly. He would be lying if he said he didn't like being around the brute, the affection and teasing that came with it was fun. "If I win again I would like to win another kiss from you, and perhaps your company for the night." he rumbled, an appreciative growl rising in his throat before he continued, "I think either way we both will come out appeased, don't you think?" he asks gently, he knows, either way, neither of them will be on the losing side; in the long way anyway. He stepped back, and even though it was voluntary his body protested leaving Genesis's side. Protested not being near him. He shook himself free of any and all thoughts, focusing on what was ahead. If intimacy was what Genesis longed for, what he sought to earn from this fight, then Epimethius would show him how intimate he can be during the fight itself. He moved to stand far enough in the fog that he could not be seen, letting the fog smother his form. He let out a soft breath, focusing on being quiet. Head tucked dog as his hackles rose, protecting the soft flesh of his neck and throat. His toes dug into the soft ground for traction. And then he closed his eyes, no use in having them open if he could barely use them. His tail flagged out behind him as he listened for Genesis's next move. He would let him come to him, giving Genesis the advantage of the first move. He could feel the adrenaline begin to course through his veins, the excitement at what was to come. And what lay on the table between them. He was ready. Epimethius vs Genesis for Dominance Round 0/? "So what you're saying is, the only difference in reward is who gets bragging rights?" he questioned teasingly with a smirk and put on a charade of pondering over it. There wasn't much to lose, anyway. Of course he wanted bragging rights, but if he ended up underneath the man once again he certainly wouldn't complain. Maybe if he won, he could get the blond man underneath him instead.
Soon the man was off hiding in the fog and leaving the first move up to him. He couldn't see through it at all and the golden man's fur wasn't enough of a contrast to help any. He was left resorting to his other senses, with a heavier focus on his hearing. He could tell that he was trying to be quiet, but it was hard to be completely silent when there wasn't another sound around. He could hear his focused and calm breaths, and that was enough for him to pin point a generalized location.
Hoping that Epi was where he thought, he moved through the fog with fangs and claws first. He was taller than the man, had a good amount of height on him too so he kept his head posture low and aimed for where he imagined the left side of his throat was in relation to where he had heard breathing. His right forelimb raised in unison and reached to wrap around the shorter mans shoulders as his body would pivot towards the right to become mostly perpendicular to the wolfdog.
