He'd come far to find such a paradise. He had no reason to leave, but also no reason to stay. He had run like a coward from his problems. Had left his brother and best friend. There were few in the pack that understood him,and he had left like a thief in night after he'd had enough insults, belittling, and reminders that yes he was in fact a cat.

His paws were silent as he moved, a typical cat in everything but size. Massive. He was massive. A warrior by bulk and build. But a lover by heart. He'd not had that stripped from him with the bullying by the canines of his home pack, but he had a understanding that he was indeed lesser from the bullying.

Sunlight careened through the canopy as he moved on the ground. He would be in a tree, if he knew how to climb one. Also a problem from being raised by canines. There were cat skills he lacked. And he had picked up some strange doglike qualities. He paused in front of a decrepit building. His pack had lived in structures like this. He supposed he might find a mouse or something inside to eat. That would be nice. A deer would be more preferred but he doubted that he could hunt one alone. He lowered his haunches and sighed. This would of been easier if he knew what to do as a cat.
Mika is a larger than average(for his breed) Maine coon. Not all of his art will accurately reflect his size. Not all of his art will accurately portray his markings either.

Wandering away from the group’s land on an exploration had been a mistake. All it took was a storm, so nasty weather and Sucre was swept into some water, turned around by the pull of the waves as she tried to fight for shore. The poor cat had been terrified, certain she would die, and without Anna or Nina to help her she knew she wouldn’t last long. A stray piece of driftwood had been the small cat’s salvation, and she clung to it desperately until she made it to shore. Only… this wasn’t where she had been. This beach was foreign, different. Sucre remained on the beach as the storm passed, and now sunlight fell down on the land she found herself on.

It was hunger that would drive her away, gaze longing for the other shore she had come from. In her new predicament, the small cat knew she still needed to eat, and find clean water as well. She was still afraid, uncertain instead of excited as she normally was when she visited a new territory. Her tail swished back and forth with anxiety, ears lowered as green eyes scanned the floor of the wooded area she found herself in. Dapples of sunlight fell from the canopy above, but there was no joy in them, nor hope of sunbathing.

Sucre just wanted to get home, back to Taiga and the others…
