Oh, the devil take it, they're mongrels. No spots! No spots at all!
Lysan, Akrasia

Honestly, Lysan was bored of this already, trailing after his father with a scowl on his face. And then they were brought near the edge of the damned dam and only then did his face tilt upwards to look at his father skeptically. He could only imagine why he had brought them here today. And as his father spoke his gaze only grew more questionable.
Did his father know nothing of pups? Did he not know he had to explain what a frog was, and also how to catch one?? Well, Lysan didn't care enough to ask. Honestly, he didn't really care if he did find a frog or not, but he'd much rather try then listen to his father talk about himself and his godhood. Bleh.
Lysanias walked away from his father and his sister with a sigh, nose to the ground as he tried to track anything. Soon enough a scent hit his nose that was rather musky. His eyesbrow's lowered in concentration as he stalked the trail, body pressing lower to the ground as he stalks his prey.
Soon a brown mass appears in his view, and he can only assume that it must be a frog. Yes, clearly that is a frog. He launches towards it, jaws wide open as he aims to bite at its neck. Jaws struggled to wrap around the prey that was almost the same size as him, but soon enough he felt a crunch as he crushed its throat. For a moment he wondered why his father would send them after something that had such dangerous-looking teeth, but then he shrugged his shoulders.
He grabbed ahold of its rather flat tail and began dragging it back to where his father was, it was quite a slow trip because of the darned like 20 pounds he was dragging with him but he was stubborn.

Best to give me your loyalty Their father lead them to places their mother likely wouldn't approve of, and Akrasia lived for it. Fairly dainty yet still large puppy paws followed Ultyr's every step, keeping to his heel. Her silvered pelt kept as clean as she could and shaking her paws of mud once in a while. Their father was going to be in deep shit with their Daddy, if they came back a mess and their mother had to fuss over them to clean them. Best to keep the fighting down, for the moment. Though then again, if they were fighting over her she would just revel in it like the princess she was. As soon as her father stopped she was stopped by his hock and she gave an oof then a glare up at him for not giving her a warning first, or was it because she wasn't being allowed to ride on his back or be carried where they went. Then he was ordering them to do something and she just plopped delicately upon her haunches. Like hell she was going to go wallow in the mud right now, he didn't even tell them what a frog was. Azure pools glared up at him before watching Lys go off to look for the creature he wanted them to find. Then back to Ultyr. Her brother must of been told before this what a frog was, how unfair. "No I don't think I will.... Daddy won't like it if mom has to clean my fur from the icky mud.... Besides, what's a frog?" Smart alek nature and rebellious tendencies shining through beautifully. Ganymede would be proud of her she bet, and she would never do wrong in Lailah's eyes. Walk, "Talk", Think |

Lysanias couldn't help the sigh that came from his throat as his father regarded him and told him what he caught was wrong, with a shake of his head he turned around and left his catch behind. Head hanging low as he trudged onward, searching for yet another trail to follow. Mud slowly began to cake to his paws and lower legs, and as he drew closer to the river it only became thicker and harder for his small legs to navigate through.
Dual colored eyes searched for any movement in his surroundings, narrowing upon a green mass. Instantaneously his body lowered, hunkering down as he prepared to spring forward and capture this incredibly small creature in his mouth. He could only hope that this weird thing was a frog, it was small and appeared to be slimy and a part of him was not keen on digging his teeth into it's flesh.
As he found his opening as the frog turned away from him he launched forward, closing the distance with a leap. He hits his mark, teeth burrowing into the flesh of the still-wiggling frog even though it is now dead. One brow furrowed as he questioned the movement, giving it a solid shake to make it stop. Then he prowled back to his brute of a father, dropping the much more manageably sized creature at his feet. "Is this what you wanted me to get?" His voice came out brash and slightly demanding, brow lifting on his face as he looked up at his father. While he wasn't exactly a rebellious son, it was clear he did not care for praise or even disapproval.
