She was getting a lesson one way or another today. While she had only shown up to the party with her fox and owl, the raiding pack had come armed to the teeth with armour and all. She was more than pleased this was just a friendly raid.

Mochi would allow herself to wonder about the other woman's antlered fox when she wasn't doing her level best to not trip and fall on her ass, backpedalling away from the antlers aimed at her face. In what would not be called her brightest moment in hindsight, she figured, hell, why not and snapped at the bony growths angled in her direction. Maybe if she got a hold of them she could use the momentum to knock the other woman off balance?

Teeth met sinew and Majima had to force himself to focus, wanting desperately to rip and tear and rend but forcing himself not to go too far, no matter what his instincts screamed at him. The sharp pain of cat like claws in his face as the boy twisted his foreleg to grip his cheek brought him painfully back to the present. Majima had wanted to get closer so he let himself be pulled in, releasing his grip, though he ducked as he did so, another limb swinging towards him overshooting as a result. Majima grit his teeth, willing to tear his face out of those claws if he had to as he tried to pull down sharply only so he could then try and slam his head back up just as suddenly, barely aware of a bird that landed uselessly on his horns. It would have to choose pretty quickly if it wanted to stay in the danger zone as Majima was attempting to slam his horns into the underside of the other male's jaws, remembering pretty last minute to tilt his head back so he didn't gore the kid with the points. As he shifted his weight back up he fished out a fore paw, seeking to hook that other limb if he could, try and knock the pup off balance enough to maybe just pull him down quicker, though it was admittedly not his focus right this moment. Artorias’ teeth found purchase in Hattori’s shoulder and the Lord of Cinder latched on tight, refusing to let go of his hold on his opponent. In their current grapple, Art would be able to keep good leverage on Hattori, just one good throw away from toppling his foe. The pair of wolves struggled against one another’s might for a time, but Artorias’ powerful jaws held strong. Art felt Hattori begin to twist in his grip, only noticing that the Kaicho was starting to maneuver a strike towards his face when it was too late. Hattori’s horns collided with his chin, rattling Artorias’ head and causing his jaws to clamp down harder on Hattori’s shoulder unintentionally.

Despite the blow, Artorias’ jaws held his grip firm. With a determined snarl, Artorias pushed his weight forward while pulling at Hattori’s shoulder in his jaws, seeking to pull his opponent right off his paws and toss him to the ground, intending to throw him down into a swift pin if the koi king went down.

"Artorias Carpathius"

The prodding of her antlers did indeed get her younger opponent to start backpedaling, but in the end it landed her in a slightly unfortunate position. Her eyes widened as she went to turn her head and realized the Tojo fighter had caught one of her antlers in her jaws. Briar gave a huff with a mix of amusement and annoyance at the girl’s (probably accidental) quick thinking to stop her attack. In response, Briar brought a forepaw up to claw at her opponent’s muzzle and face to try and force her to let go. She wanted to rear back and use both paws, but with her antler caught like this it was all she could do to maintain her balance while trying to free herself.
