Eltrys rushed the fresh spring air into his lungs. The season finally warming and bringing forth the colors of the flowers and of light! He made his way down to the base of the falls and sang loud and clear to his packmates that they were to begin their preparations for the Day of Color, The Holy Festival.
Who would come and find out their duties to prepare? He needed one ore two to gather the dyes, and another to find their allies and invite them to the festival.
They would have a week to prepare before the day would be upon them. He hoped to offer up some of his well made leatherwork goods of decorated armor, satchels, rucksacks, and other nature inspired accessories at a market stall during that morning. He hoped other members would like to have the opportunity to offer their goods and services for their guests and trade with their allies. Perhaps Iki would like the chance to learn how to trade their precious cavern sugar for other goods! Show him how trading works.

Iki was at the creek today, using the reflective surface of the water to admire his new collar. It wasn't a battle thing like Gav's and he wasn't certain he should wear it in public yet. What if his family freaked out? He figured he could trust his brother Gav but what if Jeri and Zanny(his nickname for Sou) found out and told dad? Would they all freak out? He cocked his head as a call came out.
A glance at the big pink bow on the side of his neck with it's little silver bow and he took a big inhale. Eltrys was calling the pack. Should he? Did it make him look ridiculous? Courage was hard when you had a dad like his. Bae-Syl was strict and, while he knew his dad loved him, was very disappointed in having a son who had such little going on in his life. Iki knew he was a disappointment to the man who claimed their head fighter position. His mother was lead healer and his father a head fighter, both should of produce brilliant kids and easily capable, but Iki was neither of those things. His green gaze went to the bow one last time. Brave! Gotta be big brave! He stood and with the tinkle of his bell in his ear moved towards Eltrys' call.
He arrived and took in the sight of the armors and stuff, a blush coming up to his cheeks. Ok maybe Eltrys had meant for the fighters to show up. Though he was here now yes? His ears pined and that bravery was slowly dwindling. A gulp and he moved from the greenery around him into the light, averting his gaze from the alpha, bow clearly on display. Would Eltrys tell his Aunt and then he'd be out casted for the little bit of he didn't like girls like they all did? That he might like guys.... Yeah, that was a thing. He glanced towards Eltrys once more, his voice coming forth a little more withdrawn. "If, uh, you didn't mean to call me I can go." He definitely didn't fit if this was some sort of crafting or fighting lesson. He preferred words to brute strength, friends to enemies, and all that good stuff. And he definitely didn't feel like crafting would be his thing, he'd probably do it wrong, make El mad and then have another male in the pack down his back for being too stupid to follow directions.

The season warms and with it, brings an array of colors only Spring seems to be able to call forth from the flowers and Jericho finds himself enjoying his trips away from pack lands. Being a Sparrow means he needs to gather information and that is what he has been doing, traveling far and wide to gather pieces of news to stitch together so that he can bring back a rich tapestry that is the world outside Vedia. He is just returning to the pack lands when Eltrys sings a call for them to come to come and take part in preparing for festival and he quickly moves toward the falls.
As he walks the familiar paths toward the base of the roaring falls, the sunlight casts dapples across his fur as he winds his way through the trees until he finally finds the spot where Eltrys and Ikuchi are. Speaking of Iki, his brother sports a huge pink bow on the side of his neck with a little silver bell in the middle. A huge smile splits his maw as he approaches, knowing that his brother has been struggling to figure out exactly, who he is but, by the looks of the bow, he it seems he finally found what he is looking for.
Joining the other two, he greets warmly, “Hello Eltrys! I hope you have been doing well.” Turning his full attention to his brother, he offers him a proud look as he beams and says, “Iki! I love your bow! Where did you get it? It is so, you.” His words are genuine and there is no sarcasm to be found because Jericho is sincerely happy for Ikuchi. Turning toward Eltrys, he asks, “So, what are we doing?”

Éldi sipped the last of his tea, enjoying the warmth of the spring sun as it entered his den. His bruised body was healing well, aided by the coming spring and the contentment it brought with it. He pulled some hides toward himself but paused as he heard Eltrys calling for the pack to begin festival preparations. Smiling gently he tucked the hides aside for now, knowing that they could be used in various ways for the festival.
Stretching gently, Éldi got to his feet and answered the call. He arrived at the small gathering and dipped his head in greeting to his alpha. "Good day, I'm happy to help in anyway I can." Whether hunting to provide food for the festival or crafting items out of the remains of his kills, his age came with a wealth of knowledge that he was only too happy to apply to the packs festivals.
