Time seemed to slip by uncontrollably it seemed. Soon the yearling found herself in a new land, a strange land that smelt of old scents from travelers just as she herself. Ears splayed to the side as pink pools travel across the barren landscape. A tilt of her cranium as she chuffed out to anyone or anything that may be nearby. A warm breeze picked up some of the loose red dirt, which had swirled around her legs a soft laugh emitting from her throat, the woman never cared for death but understood that with death bloomed life, new life at that. And that in itself was a blessing. To awaken everyday and begin a new journey. That was the meaning of life, to make today better than yesterday was or could have been.
