She felt like a blimp, a large, lonely blimp. Argent had been alone for quite some time now; what had once been a proud queen was now a fallen figure, fur a mess and body fat. She highly doubted that she could defend herself now. In her last pregnancy she had the backing of Glaciem. Now, she was alone. A familiar, painful twisting occurred within her stomach. Her face wrinkled in pain, and her legs attempted to carry her to somewhere safe. Upon finding it she collapsed, like a woman who had been lost at sea and finally found land. She knew that this time there would be no Eris; Argent was in it by herself. Agony swept her, and she writhed and shouted, undoubtedly causing a scene. For a few moments she doubted herself; the strength in her body was no what it once was, depleted by depression and guilt. Perhaps she was bound to die now, and perhaps this was how Isardis would find her; belly filled with his enemy?s children, body too weak to birth them, eyes wide open in an agony. Alas, somehow, she managed. Four healthy children, three of them girls and one single boy, her heart attaching to them immediately as she licked them and cleaned them. They were so beautiful; a girl with a coat of deep russet, a girl with a pelt of twisted greys and silvers, a girl with a silver pelt and a white face and legs, and a boy with a white face and a black saddle. ?Kasai, Talvi, Desdemona, Minos,? she mumbled, lathering them all with love. After all, it was only a matter of time before she had to give them up. She would enjoy them now; if they could never know their mother?s love another moment in their lives, they would have to feel it now.

Perhaps Argent's condition was far from its typical peak though the lives growing inside her knew no different. The safety of their mothers womb was all that they knew for now, oblivious to the silver woman's current state of health, no clue that things could be better for all of them. That time was of course drawing to an end now though, the pups inside fidgeting in anticipation of something, though what they had no idea. One by one, each of them would be pushed out into the world. Names fell upon deaf ears, Talvi as it appeared she would be called would edge closer to the warmth of her mother, the eager nudges and licks helping to guide her to Argent's side. The bodies of her siblings were close again and though things were far from perfect, for now a calm would settle again and after her first feed, Talvi began to drift off to a happy and peaceful sleep.

Reveling in the warmth and darkness of her mothers womb, Kasai had a strange dreaded feeling that it would not remain so forever. She wasn't sure what it felt to dread something, nor feel scared...but if there ever was such a thing, today was it. The walls around her became cramped, threatening to squeeze and subdue her movements. It only caused her to move further in her attempts at fighting back the unseen. However, it was in vain. The unseen would push her forth, towards what she did not know. She would be forced into the world beyond her known realm. And onto unfamiliar grounds where she was then attacked by a force wet and warm. Her first breath was taken, and hastily she climbed forward to cling to warmth of what she somehow knew as her mother.
