This was quite interesting, the strange human structure built out of metal. It was frozen fast into the body of water below it, and rusting away. Immense paws would kiss the snow blanketed terra as she approached the strange structure, then bunched the powerful muscles in her hind legs and leapt into the structure. Warped wooden floorboards greeted her rosy pads, a few splinters attempting to work their way into the tough flesh and failing. She stepped into the dark cavernous room that smelled like it used to belong to someone, and followed the dark stairwell into the bowels of the ship. Rooms on either side greeted her crimson orbs, their doorways beckoning for her to investigate each and every entrance. Most were empty, barren of all but a mouldy mattress and a rotten desk and chair set. A few held personal touches unique to wolves, but not very many of them. Soon she reached the end of these quarters, then turned and entered the last one. It appeared to have been demolished by another creature, stains seeped into the wooden floorboards, and a foul smell filled the air. Retreating from the room, the giantess padded through the hallway, before entering another room and scuffling about after the squealing of a mouse with her immense paws. Long silvery banner would wag happily behind her while she tormented the tiny creature, sticking her muzzle under the tiny space beneath the bed. Hind end would drop as she laid down trying to attack it.

Jay could smell the she-wolf. And he knew what he smelt. A gorgeous she-wolf layed in front of him, her fur billowing in the air that had forged its way into the old human structure. Her pink eyes looked sightless, yet he knew she could see. Her body was beautifully crafted, with long legs and a well-muscled body, she was perfect in his eyes. but a bit older than he...It was....a proud female. He snarled faintly, and waited for her to hear...but she remained still and down. He knew that she had found the spot where he had slaughtered the lone wolf. The body was taken care of, of course, but she didn't need to know that. She was a pack wolf...he couldn't take any chances with her seeing him. Jay lurked in the black shadows right in front of her, pacing very silently back and forth, back and forth. Suddenly, he stopped, and sat down in a spot he knew the old wood wouldn't scream out. All 158lbs of him was still and silent. 'Should I kill her?' he thought maliciously. 'Should I take her life or favor her only because she is a thing of beauty...'

She was aware of a soft growl behind her, and abandoned her torment of the mouse, looking upwards to see nothing. Her nose told her that a man lurked close, and something in the air told her that he wasn't up for a chat amongst friends. Standing, she padded towards the scent and was soon met with a pale man who stood much shorter than her. She grinned down at him, the smile curving her lips to bare truly formidable pearl razors. "Can I help you with something?" She asked, her voice calm and smooth, undertones flashing warning signs in bright lights. Long tail would sweep across her tall heels like a pendulum, crimson optics fixed upon the face of the strange man. He clearly was not in a playful mood, there was something in his icy blue eyes that spoke of a hunger for bloodshed.

Even though he was a few inches shorter than she, he knew he could easily lunge for her throught. He was caught off guard by her voice though, and wondered why she sounded like a male...He bared all his teeth, and cocked his cranium to the side, making sure she saw all his teeth. His bloodied mouth dripped all over the old wood floor boards, creating a blood puddle that soaked his feet. His ears pricked forward, showing that he was in a hostile mood. His breath reeked of fresh flesh and thick blood. Jay's tail sprang upward, the white hackles on his thickly furred neck standing at attention. " You can tell me why your in my residence." He snarled heavily. For a shorter wolf, he certainly had the voice of a 200 pounder. He looked her straight in the eye and smiled wickedly.

The wolf became hostile, hackles and tail raising with it's lips, bloodied teeth baring as he snarled a threat. His residence? She had not smelled any scent markers or heard him call her out earlier. "Last time I checked, this was neutral land." She growled smoothly in reply, her hackles rising slightly in warning. Lips would lift a touch, revealing her own fangs, pearly and relatively clean. She was not in the mood for a fight, but should this come to it she would gladly set this little prick straight. She heard the skittering of tiny claws on the warped wooden boards underfoot as the mouse she had been trying to get earlier made it's hasty escape. With a tiny squeak, the rodent left the room.
Crimson gaze was cool as she met the icy glare of her opponent, she did not issue a threat, she simply held her hackles up a bit in defense, and proclaiming that she would not back down to this mongrel. She was not afraid, she had the obvious size advantage, and she would not be blinded by rage that this dog seemed to harbour at a constant time.

He was proud of her, he had to admit it. "I marked about four feet from the building, malady." He bowed slightly and calmed himself down. He wanted to clean himself up, but not with her standing in front of him. He sat down nonchalantly and put his hackles down. Looking at her again, he smiled sheepishly.

The wolf's demeanor changed immediately, which seemed quite strange. Not enough that it showed in her facial expression, most backed down when she started to call them out on their aggression. He pointed out that he had in fact marked his territory in the melting snow outside, then dropped his hackles and seated himself. A sheepish smile played at the broad features of the male as he looked up at her. Ruby gaze flicked over his muscular frame as she assessed the sudden demeanor change. "Well the snow is melting, so marking in a soon to be puddle doesn't exactly get the point across." She told him, voice slightly bored and hinting at sarcasm as she spoke. She wasn't quite annoyed, but she wasn't just completely at ease now. She did not sit in front of him, instead she padded back to the bed and hopped up onto it, seating herself there and wrapping her silvery banner about her broad paws. She wasn't eager to be close to this man anymore, he was too finicky and quick to change his attitude. Unease hid in her crimson pools, but she left it to fade. Rosy flanks heaved as a sigh shuddered through her chest, her gaze never leaving the strange male.

He was playing her, and good. "You're right, I'm sorry. I should have marked the building itself. Forgive me...." He didn't know her name, but knew she was incredibly smart. He knew she was nervous...and if not that, he was suspicious.. what clan was she? How old was she? "Why are you here?" He said smoothly, licking his teeth clean. He wanted a good answer for almost being caught during a murder. He licked up the puddle if blood, trying not to get any splinters in his tongue. He stared at her intently. Never breaking eye contact with the pearly goddess-like she wolf. He needed to be in a pack, but being along was also just as good. He sneezed and waited for her answer.

He was quite suspicious, simply in the way he acted. She waved off his apologies and yawned. He inquired as to why she was here, and she shrugged, looking about the darkened room. "Exploring, checking out the lay of the land." She told him half heartedly, before slowly bringing her crimson gaze back to the pale man. A huff shuddered through her chest as she watched him for a few seconds. This wasn't the best meeting for her to have, and she was getting bored of it. "Well, if you'll excuse me, I'll just get out of your residence." She murmured cheerily, smiling softly as she rocked back on her heels and standing, stepping onto the warped wooden floor. She dipped her cranium in farewell. Turning, the rosy giantess padded out of the room, broad paws kissing the warped floorboards as she strode down the hall and up the stairs. Entering the captains quarters, she soon stepped into the light of the day. The snow below was definitely melting, no wonder she had missed the scent marker. Deeply she would sigh, taking in the view from atop the deck of the boat. After a few moments, the dame casually leapt from the ship and out into the snowy lands below. Padding away, she was eager to continue exploring.

He watches her walk up the stairs and gets up to leave himself. As he pads out of the broken bottom of the ship, he howls a long and mournful howl, telling anyone in the vicinity that he is around and is leaving the ship for good. He trots into the woods, the melting snow slippery beneath his heavy paws. Thinking about his last week encounter with a pack wolf, he snarled viciously to himself. How he hated pack wolves. The ones he had met so far were 1: dead, and 2. Curiously suspicious. They were both female. Ahhh the slaughtered wolf. 'She'll never be found. Her treachery to my former pack was avenged. I must move on.' He thought satisfied with his secret work. His ears pricked at a sudden sound to his left. A leaf rustling, but not from the wind. There was no wind... Jay crouched down quickly, his hackles standing up immediately.

He licked his dry lips, gathering his haunches for a leap. But before he could gather the power to launch, he smelt bear. His heart dropped into his stomach like a boulder. A bear? What the hell was he going to do about a damn bear?! 'I can't run, they're fast, but if I climb a tree... No, a wolf in a tree? That'll be seen as crazy! But if I run in a zig-zagged pattern, the best thing that will happen is the thing will be confused and slow down. And maybe I can even lose him.' Jay mulled over his plan strategically. 'On the count of three...1.......2.......' As he thought three, he sprung out of the brush and spun around, running in a zig zag pattern away from the beast.

.:Exit Jay:.
