OOC: set before the DM for obvious reasons <3

Nightmares. Her body shook beyond her control, her yelps evident and loud with each twitch. Beneath sultry lids her eyes went wild, chasing the forms of imaginary enemies as panic gripped her heart tight, making it pound heavily within her chest. She dreamed of the master, of her days of being broken, of the family that had sold her, of her fear and pain. She dreamed of being broken and then rebuilt, of a man with black fur and blue eyes who was so frighteningly familiar. For once, the harlot looked vulnerable, a woman bothered by something. To many she seemed impenetrable, a woman who let nothing get to her.
And yet, that couldn?t be farther from the truth.
Her limbs were flailing, fighting off imaginary enemies that she was powerless to stop. ?Jupiter,? she whispered, desiring her sun to chase away the night, wishing for her vixen to hold her close. The name was repeated on her lips, louder and louder each time, desperate as it parted from her unknowing lips. Medusa was caught up in her nightmares, desiring her sun to come to her, to protect her from the harms that she could never fight off herself.

She heard them, the sharp yelps and the cries, with equally sharp ears and the lass took no time in acting upon them, interrupting her nighttime patrol without a thought. Her pulse began its ascension in tempo as panic seeped into her mind, finding the cracks in her mental resilience and ability to keep calm with ease. The sun sought her stomach with passion, racing steadily toward the initial location of the cries. Before long she heard her name chanted softly in the wind and she paused to locate it, whirling until she pinpointed which direction it emanated from.

Her lover was upon the earth, flailing under the grasp of horrendous nightmares. Immediately Jupiter swooped in with a concerned croon. "Medusa," she cooed quickly, circling around to the lass' back to avoid her wild limbs. The orange woman would stoop to press her stomach against the earth and her side upon her mate's fur, allowing for their pelts to mingle and offering her warmth. "My serpent, wake up." Her tongue snaked out in an attempt to give a warm lick to the black beauty's features, hoping to stir her from her troubled slumber, concern evident in every ounce of her countenance.

prone to violent reaction. ic actions have ic consequences and she lives and breathes it.

public enemy #1

crawl. crawl more. drag your hands and knees across the destruction left in my wake to the ends of the earth. there's a green light of a shining star in my sky and there will not be an obstacle i will not overcome until i cup that star in my palms. the void in my will has been filled with purpose. so crawl. crawl more, love.
because i like it when you're on your knees.

She felt like ice, like the coldest of winter nights. The demons of her past grasped at her, leaving hand-shaped bruises that went right down to the marrow. Medusa couldn?t help but shake, attempting to thaw herself, but finding her efforts all for not. She felt like she was lost in her nightmares, lost in the past, never to be returned. The shackles around her were made of the heaviest of ice, and maybe she was to be chained in them forever, stuck to observe an unforgivable repeat of the past that had broken her and built her and shaped her in the form of a harlot.
And then, all at once, she felt as if she were enveloped by the sun.

Kisses were peppered to her face, moonlight-colored eyes revealed by sultry lids as they peeled upwards. Cold tears were falling down her face, met by a warm tongue. Her body was pressed into Jupiter?s, and she pressed closer, feeling so vulnerable and helpless in the moment that the reaction felt necessary. ?My sun,? she said sharply, quickly, hoping to bury her head in the soft fur of the Sol. Her heart pounded heavy with fear, her eyes wide open, as if she feared the monsters of her past were painted in the inside of her eyelids. ?I need you,? she whispered fervently, as if it wasn?t apparent enough, as if her panic and fear wasn?t laid out right in front of the woman she loved more than life itself.
