She remembered this place well. Here she had met the first creature since she arrived in Alacritis, a snow leopard named Silverback. What a wonderful beast the silver feline had been, but since their first meeting she had seen neither hide or tail, nor heard anything of her, since. She wandered through the maze of icy pillars, examining her beauty within the warped ice. Even with her face screwed up and swirled within the crystalline matter, she looked as sensual as ever. She sighed contentedly to herself, her long tail flicking, catlike, against the tall columns as she passed them. Raising her voice to be heard above the clicking of her ebony claws upon the frozen lake top, she began to sing in the language spoken between herself and her lover. "Deedni suordnow eb dluow, eci ni nezorf ti ees ot, erif ni demusnoc dlrow eht ees ot ho." Came her purring lullaby, barely heard over the din of her tea cupped paws striking the icy terra beneath her. Her voice wavered and lilted, weaving through the maze of ice like a siren's call.
