Hard lessons make the changes

Morning broke out over the winterland in pastel colors of blue, pick, purple and yellow. Life stirred after the long freezing hours of night. A fluff ball came rushing out of the den to watch the colors of the sky before they would fade with the rising sun. Firey amber eyes shone with wonder, how could the world change so easily? But this beautiful moment was not to last long. With a sigh Irune trotted off to start her day. Today she was gonna find someone to teach her how to hunt and fight! To protect what she held dearly to her, to make her family proud, and to be the best she could.

As the sun reach about half way across the sky the young pup had had no luck finding anyone. Okay, sure she got distracted by playing in the snow and following the scent trail of a rabbit. Though she never did find the rabbit, probably due to her clumsy paws. She wondered about till she found the log where she first met Ky, Rin, Genesis, and that one female she had a hard time saying her name, much less remembering it.

Dirty white paws scrambled up the log till she sat down upon the top on it. Eyes looked down at her paws, realizing how small she really was. Ky and Rin were so much bigger than her but not too much older. Was something wrong with her? With a grunt she shook the thoughts away. She had a mission today! Hopefully someone would walk by here.
