The snow was heavy today, whipping around the trees as it dances from the heavens down to the earth. It had to be a gift, a reminder that all mortals things could and would come to an end, one day, someday, and sometimes it would be closer than what it seemed. But that was alright, Chill found herself setting upon the steps of a Cathedral that was high upon the mountains of the north overlooking the wall down below.

This is where the cold hearted woman belonged, here aloft from their world but always closer than she appeared. She watched quietly as a pack went speeding by down below, each one playing their part to take down something so much bigger than them. I wonder if that is what a pack truly it. Not a family unit, but a group of individuals that are willing to give up everything to help each other. Thoughts where tiny singsong echoes from a soul that was long ago destroyed.

Chill was nothing, a tool to be used, a woman making a grab at an invisible throne, an ambition that all seemed to fear. That was fine though, she had her thoughts to keep her company, and Aranya was always around. Aranya, the one that thought of packs as useful things. But they are just tools too. The thought was like venom against her shattered mind as she arose from her seated position and turned toward the Cathedral.

Here the last stronghold of man was now just a collection of giant ice walls, arches, and nature that showed the skeleton of a once great building. And just like this once great building, Chill would make sure that the packs eventually fell as well, if not by her paws, she would birth children and instill in them the same absent minded hatred, until one day her dark deed would be done.

Children...Paws where heavy against the half exposed stone as she leapt upward onto an alter, her haunches twisted as she rested there, eyes watching the pass as well as the pack down below. One day their time would come. That she promised.

The beast had found her prey, an ivory canine so stupidly sitting around. It was as if the lupine wanted the terror to kill her and crush her bones and rend her flesh. She would not eat the wolf though, she had once, and they tasted like soot and fecal matter. Or what she imagined the two substances would taste like if she had ever eaten them. Creeping towards the fool from the beams in the ceiling, she fought back a growl of pleasure as her heart raced in anticipation. She swallowed a scream, a nails on chalkboard screech that would incite a chase. She was never one for a chase, she wanted to surprise her victims, see the look of shock on their faces as her jaws closed around their throats and tore them apart. Massive paws and razor sharp claws gripped the thin beam as she strode towards the pathetic canid. This was it, she would attack, spill blood. She leapt, landing mere inches from the unaware lupine, a maniacal grin splitting her lips as she tore the weakling to pieces.

It was all a mere fantasy. Playing about in her head while she slunk through the shadows and into the building. Her tawny pelt rippled with strength and power, muscles thickly corded over her frame. She was the essence of power, and incited fear in those who were unlucky enough as to see her before she killed them. Pale golden orbs would glow like the flames of a lantern as her voice echoed through the room.
"Hello wolf."
She would growl, her vocals thickly accented with Russian. Massive incisors would flash in the darkness as a grin revealed them from under her dark lips. Long tail would flick from side to side, revelling in her fantasy as it repeated itself over and over and over in her twisted head. She would remain in the shadows, waiting for a response from the inferior creature.

Ears twisted upon her head as she surveyed the land below, her tail twitching behind her as she watched life spin by. The wicked never truly had rest, or reprieve from their evil minds, their minds where always at working, cooking plans on the best way to dominate their foes. Then when one foe was dominated, there was always another enemy to be made, another foe to be snuffed, out.

The process would only end when the darkness in their mind was put out by the flames of death, or the warmth of light. Something though caught her attention, something was approaching, the sound of nails on concert made her turn her head in that direction to hold yet another cat. Except this one leapt at her seeming half deranged. Never fear, this was fun and exciting!

At first she expected it to be black like Kus, the alpha of one of the western territories. But instead this one was a light brown, and she crinkled her nose at her in amusement. Evil recognized evil, madness paired up with madness, it was common, that was how they existed, if they didn't exist this way the evil ones would have just killed each other a long time ago.

"Feline." She greeted back, her tail drumming against the alter that she laid on. This cat had an accent too, so she was guessing that the feline population was not native to this land. So Chill shifted forward, her head stretching out as she sniffed the air. "So I'm guessing your not from the other panthers clan in the west. So what can I do for you?" Chill rose to her paws slowly, allowing the snow to fall away from her body as she took the chance to look down at the muscular creature.

This wolf was so very boring, not like the others she had met, who either feared her or longed to have a part of her heart. It's grating voice met her audits, simply calling her 'feline'. Well, maybe they could get along a bit. It acknowledged her superiority, as a cat. It mentioned another cat in these lands, and the tawny beast almost sighed in relief that there was another she could find in these lupine infested lands.
"No, but thank you for notifying me of his presence."
She growled, stepping out of the shadows to reveal herself to the mutt. She seated herself upon one of the rotting pews, yawning widely. She had made sure it was the pew farthest from the canine, so she wouldn't have it's stink clogging her nose, and so she wouldn't have to worry about an attack from the pitiful creature. Pale golden optics fixed on the wolf, glowing in the darkness of the building.
"You may do nothing for me, but you may offer."
She replied to the inquiry with a growl of boredom. She had never found wolves appealing in any manner, although sometimes they could provide entertainment. Either through their pain and suffering, their death, or their pathetic weakness.

Her paws itched, she could feel it in her being, the urge to growl and lash out at the cat for invading her territory. But it has been so long since someone has graced her presences here in her kingdom of rot and despair. Her hind legs tingled, the urge driving her forward as she leapt down from the alter and made her way toward the feline.

"Actually if my nose didn't betray me there's two felines there. Why don't you follow me? I can lead you to them." Chill said, but she had different motives, she knew she would probably be rewarded by Kus for bring him a female cat. But this feline didn't need to know exactly anything about the details.

Chill? Do something for her? A smile ruined her face as she laughed, her shoulders shaking as she shook her head. "I poison people for a living feline. I rarely do anything for anyone but myself." Her voice was quiet as she stretched out on the cold floor as she eye the cat before swishing her tail about herself.

Such a bold little mutt, who thought she owned the world. A quiet snort escaped her maw, as she watched this pale wolf. The wolf offered to take her to visit multiple felines in the area. A sarcastic grin split her lips as she rolled her eyes at the lupine's audacity.
"I would not need you, wolf, to show me the way to my own kind."
She growled in annoyance, ghostly acidic orbs staring at the wolf as it approached. Standing upon the pew, she stretched her powerful muscles, dragging razor sharp claws down the surface of the warped wood, leaving deep grooves to mark it forever.
"Yet something tells me I should not be turning down your offer."
She spoke, her voice nearly a purr. Yet the silky manner of speech was entirely false, trickery to convince the wolf that the terror of the trees was beginning to enjoy her presence, when in reality the tawny she cat would much rather her presence be a mutilated pile of innards on the floor of the church. Hopping down from the bench, she padded briskly over to the canine and waited for her to stop being so very lazy. As she heard the wolf speak of her talents, a huff of acknowledgement left her dark lips.
"Yes, interesting."
She muttered sarcastically, since she was not surprised by the selfish nature of the canid. They were all no good, taking from whomever they desired to, wrecking the homes of others for mere pleasure, and insisting on inciting constant battles just to prove to others their strength. Yes, pathetic. Felines did no such things, they avoided each other mostly because they were well aware of each other's strength. Yet, here she was, letting this wolf lead her to another feline. The beast was allowing such a thing to occur because she needed a breath of fresh air to relieve her of the stinks of all these insipid lupines.

Chill hunkered down low to the ground, eyes darting around the room as she held the feline. What was this? What was she supposed to do with this feline in her home? Though now she was debating on fighting, the fact that she was getting growled at by yet another giant cat made her stretch out. "You won't be able to find them without me, I can't tell you exactly why." Chill felt her belly press against the ground, eyes flickered to the cats claws as she sighed quietly to herself.

"Yet something tells me I should not be turning down your offer." The fact that the felines manner just changed so dramatically made Chill tense up. It was unnerving as for the first time in her life she felt like spinning out of her home and fleeing in some random direction. The fact that her hackles where now raising along her spine was enough warning for Chill. "I'm going to see the felines now. You are permitted to follow." She stated it sharply, she really just wanted to be away from this cat and its odd ways. Kus might be able to make more sense of it than what she could.

OOC: sorry for crap post, don't know what's wrong with me today xD

The fear that radiated from the lupine's pelt in waves sent shivers of joy down the monster's spine. She was loving the way she raised the wolf's hackles and spine fur, the look in the canine's eye that spoke of unease. She mentioned that the she cat would not be able to find her own species and Zafira suppressed a snort of contempt. She was far superior to the wolf, and could easily find the few creatures of her own kind that had decided to live on this blasted land mass. Then she was told she was 'permitted' to follow the washed out canid to where the cat waited. A sigh heaved through the tawny beast's chest, and she slunk out of the building, standing impatiently out in the snow while she waited for the mutt to lead the way. I can't believe a wolf is showing me to a member of my own kind... She snarled inwardly, pissed off that she was sinking so low.
