Quote:She would be moving Valhalla soon, and she wanted Taurig to know. He had been through quite a bit because of Glaciem, and she trusted him after he fought beside them in the war - and more importantly, had his healers help the many that were wounded because of the fighting. His accomplishments there didn't matter to the woman so much as his appearance and willingness to help - and that paired with Erani's feelings toward the man made her warm up to the idea of him being family and Valhalla for the first time being allied with Tortuga. In the end, this pack was his, and Tortuga was just a name that meant something different now than it had while she was growing up.
Chrysanthe would travel to the pack's borders, before raising her head and issuing a howl for the leader. They had a bit to discuss of course - but she wanted to know how he and his warriors were fairing after the war. She also wanted to thank him personally for participating in the siege, even though the two of them had not been the victors. A bit of time would be set aside for Taurig, because they were family now were they not? Connected even if it wasn't by blood. She would do anything for her siblings, and perhaps if the two of them continued to get along, she would feel the same way for him as well.

With appreciation for their unexplored camaraderie, Chrysanthe would step forward, passing over the borders and approaching Taurig. His Kingdom was one that she was unfamiliar with, every smell was different from that of Valhalla, but it smelled so much like him, and the healers and warriors that had come with him during the siege. With ease she would tie this scent to her allies, and it would become familiar and comfortable. "Taurig! I have news for you." She would keep in relatively high spirits for her adopted brother, although she would pause with her splurge of information when she saw his eyes.
Where she had one optic that had faded, was unusable, he had two. Where they were one vibrant, full of life - they were empty now. The woman would visibly freeze, her lips parting just slightly - she didn't even have to ask to know who did this. "No, you too? I was lucky enough to only loose one eye." She didn't know how bitter a subject this was for him, and would tread lightly upon it. "How are you and your people fairing?" The woman would pause, looking away for a moment - before tossing aside her attempts to playing her role of the polite ambassador. It would all slip away, leaving only a woman who was testing the waters at being this man's friend. "What happened Taurig? Why did he do this to you?" Her words were sincere, sweet even. But for all of the caring she felt for him, her blood boiled - for Glaciem had made a victim out of yet another...
