Sticks and stones

Not exactly outstandingly the frau had found herself at a peak, coconut hued ears pricked her ears silently, her keen orange eyes flickering with admiration, and not to think about it, she truly never had stepped upon these lands, and she's been to many places in such little time. The silence had begun as she made her way to the chill spot of the peak. A soft yet audible tune escaped her tainted lips whilst she was truly inspired by the deathless noise. "Sticks and stones may break your bones and leave them lying in the mud, but you get scared when you're alone like I'd suck your blood!.." She paused merely trying to remember the lyrics she heard sometime in her life, and it wasn't soon after, her delicate robe of music arose around her once again. "But I can tell you a witches spell, and it may blow your top, and you just start to run and start the fun, and it's awfully hard to stop!"She sung, before rummaging through her memories, smiling slightly at the memorial of how Virgil and her used to sing together when they were youngsters, but they had parted ways, perhaps she was close? It was surely worth a shot. Lifting her head, her tongue lapsed a clean tunnel passage where her vocals would heed off of her lungs full of oxygen. Her call would either send her here, or she would just have to spend the day alone, not that she cared. |

The scent of family was the sweetest Virgil had ever known, warm and welcomed. For a while she?d been alone in these lands, stranded, outcast and sent to scout their next source of power. It was lonely, that she would never deny, and yet it seemed slowly and surely her loved ones were coming after her. The matriarch felt wicked for ever truly thinking they would abandon her; blood ran thick, after all, especially in the kin of the gods. If the sweet smell was not enough, the summons was. Her younger cousin, dear Demeter, was seemingly present. The golden girl did not hesitate; instead her legs carried her deftly towards the source. Part of her feared she was imagining the noise, and yet when her eyes landed upon the dark toned maiden, she could not help the yip of joy the left her lips. ?Demeter!? she greeted, rushing forth with little restraint. She sought to press close to her younger cousin, to pull her into a wolfish hug if at all possible. ?Missed me?? she asked, a friendly, teasing tone. Virgil?s actions clearly revealed how much she had missed the younger girl. |

She had always felt abandoned at times in her short life, but the question was, did she care? no, not at all. It was not long after did her cousin's shifted air come along her tainted nose, intentionally a smile came upon her lips as she watched the golden dove scamper across the scenery with any barely fluid motions. Her last thought before being tackled down by her was a prayer to her ancestors. 'Dear gods..' The young goddess thought before being plummeted to the ground. "Virgil! Look at you! You've grown so big! You're beautiful! I'm sure any male would love to be yours at this time!" She yipped and teased right back. Demeter pressed close to her long lost cousin and best friend. "Of course I missed you, Virgil! Where have you been all this time, bud?" She grinned wide before letting her thick tail wave forth and fro in satisfaction she had found her at last. She sighed before closing her apricot bittersweet eyes closed, savoring the moment before they had to part ways again... or maybe not. "It's been too long.. too long.."Her lovely voice drained out any silence that was to be brought to the world. |

Excitement fluttered within her, and Virgil cared not that she seemed much like a crazed pup. It could never be said that the matriarch did not love her family members, and around a younger member such as Demeter she felt little pull to be stiff and formal. She listened to her cousin speaking, chuckling. ?One look at you, Dem, and they?d be so distracted they?d forget about me,? she said, and part of her felt off about having missed a part of Demeter?s life. They were together now, but she hated having been parted, having missed growing together. She made no mention that there may have been a male who had caught her attention; that would come later in the conversation, if Virgil chose to reveal it now at all. There was a chance the golden matriarch would decide to delay the revelation until she was more sure of herself. The question of her whereabouts was easily answered. ?I?ve been searching for a new kingdom. I?m going to take a pack in these lands. Well, not these. I don?t want to freeze my ass off,? she said, making no secret of how much she detested colder lands. ?How have you been? Any bitches I need to slap, or do you have everybody in line?? she asked, her way of checking up on her best friend. She sighed at the mention of their parting being too long, agreeing. She?d missed the girl, missed her family, and now they were slowly trickling back into the lands. ?I?m not going anywhere now,? she promised. They would conquer these kingdoms; once Virgil was ready she would take a throne, and the Olympus name would stand in the prominence it deserved. |

A chuckle escaped her lips immediately at the speech of Virgil, "I don't think I'm the most beautiful wolf here, But I'm confident that this," She got up and did the nearing position of a bow and shook her rear in the air back and forth before she let out a soft chuckle before winking at her cousin. "Would catch the attention of boys!" She joked before pressing her head close to Virgil. Virgil's next speech took her off of the train of thought and she gleamed at her with interest. "You're looking to form a pack? That's excellent! But it's also extremely difficult Virgil, to lead one. You have to send patrols, you have to send groups for hunting, as well as do meetings, group activities, keep everything in line, but I think you could handle it. You're a strong momma." She joked before grinning and speaking once again, swaying her plume in grace. "Ah ah ah! I think I've got everyone in line, but truthfully, I know you're not going anywhere 'cause I'm going with you." She raised a brow, challenging her to say otherwise. |
