SWEET DREAMS ARE MADE OF THIS

WHO AM I TO DISAGREE?

Icy blue eyes scanned the horizon, or what little of the setting sun could be seen above the wall. The sliver of fiery orange and yellow lit up the snowy landscape, bathing the white snow in gold, scattering light across the ground. Snowflakes fell lightly, quick to melt in the last light of day. A pair of large, blonde ears were pricked and alert, listening for any signs of life, or of danger. Leandra was a stranger in a strange land, so she didn't want to take any chances. She was hardly built for battle, should the need arise. Lightweight and small sized, with very little muscle. But what she lacked in strength, she made up for in speed, thus would have no trouble escaping if she had to.
The female slowly trudged through the snow, which reached just past her ankles, as she made her way to the wall, keenly interested in the large structure that stretched as far as the eye could see.

ooc: I think these two are similar, could be friends

A small wolf, Emer was fortunate that she didn't need to eat quite as much to keep herself sustained, the Winter had still managed to take it's toll on the poor girl and she was looking more frail than ever. She had survived of course, though all triumphant feelings from such achievements had faded now. She'd made her point, she could survive alone and now she was getting some what fed up. She was done being a rogue.

Her first idea had been to head home, a journey she had started near the end of the Winter. It had occurred to her then that she was utterly and completely lost and had now found her way back to the North. She had no real qualms with the place, simply favoured the slightly warmer climates. Spring was here and yet the ice still had a firm grip on the Northern parts of Alacritis, though warmer she supposed than the middle of winter must have been.

On she traipsed through the snow, attempting to find her way back South again. She'd only travelled this far on the trail of some deer. A rather risky move for a rogue, but it would be a good meal and she suspected one had already been injured due to the trail of blood along the way. They'd strayed far too close to pack lands for Emer's liking though. Not wanting to take any chances, she had quickly tried to retrace her steps and had at last found her way to the wall.

Her steps suddenly slowed upon catching sight of another wolf ahead. The lighter colouring of the other certainly helped her to blend in more whereas the darker autumnal shades of Emer stood out like a sore thumb against the stark white snow. There was certainly no hiding now.

Leandra continued her path toward the wall. As she forced her way through the snow, stumbling occasionally in deeper piles, the pale wolf realized the sheer enormity of the wall. It loomed above her, blocking out the last rays of the sun. Intricate cracks ran through the cobblestone wall, and heavy patches of forest green moss grew at its' base.
Her blue eyes studied the wall in wonder. How long would it take to build something this big? It was quite astonishing. Padding her way South along the wall, the small female searched for any possible way to get over.

It was then that a new, unfamiliar scent caught Leandra's nose. Stopping in her tracks, she turned her gaze back to the snowy plains, her eyes almost immediately locking on a figure in the distance. A stark brown against the white background. A female, by the smell of it. About her own size. Putting on a friendly smile, Leandra approached the new company cautiously. "Hello there."

It had been a while since Emer had found herself face to face with another rogue or even wolf for that matter and whilst there was definitely a part of her still wishing for some form of company that urge to escape to safety was generally far stronger. Now however it was clearly too late to attempt to hide anywhere, though where she would have hidden here the girl really wasn't sure at all. For now she remained frozen to the spot, watching the other in case they could be some sort of threat.

In terms of size they were in fact roughly the same, from here it was a little hard to judge and Emer still didn't feel like approaching just to find out who was the smallest. The distance remained and golden eyes carefully watched the other. "Hello there." To be honest the paler female didn't seem like much of a threat, her words and actions were friendly enough and Emer could see that there was also caution in the other's step, though perhaps it was also due to Emer's own uneasy behaviour.

Forcing herself to relax a little more she attempted a little smile in return. Still she remained in her spot however, though there wasn't much distance between the pair anymore certainly not enough that Emer felt the urge to close it. "Hello." She responded.

Carlito "Sucre" Dalibor

The brute sat down hard, crimson eyes fixed pointedly on the top of the wall. He snorted, stood up and backed up a couple of steps. Sucre's ears twitched and flopped around like they were trying to make a break for it; the pair moving in time with his annoyed thoughts. He'd followed the Wall for at least a mile looking for a low spot or a break and so far there'd been nothing, absolutely freakin' nothing. All he wanted was to be on the other side. Nothing more. Was he asking too much? From a wall, maybe. ...but surely not from himself.

His ears stopped twitching to rest firmly pointed forward. He took a couple more steps back...and then a few more. The wall was high, but perhaps not too high. This seemed like a prime spot too, as his ears detected the soft tones of two faes conversing. Perfect. All he needed now was a grand entrance to really impress them.

He still didn't think he was far enough back to get a good run at it, so the brute backed up until he was sure. There. At this distance he had more than enough space to pick up speed. Ready. Sucre tensed. Set. His legs bent, allowing him to assume the start position. Go! The brute's nails dug into the ground as he took off; his first steps kicking up clods of mud and stealing some of his momentum. Nevertheless, his poor start wasn't about to stop him. Sucre's strides ate up the ground and in seconds he was at the Wall. He crouched down, legs coiling neatly under him, and sprang up, hitting the wall a few feet short of the top. From there momentum and luck saw him through. He half climbed, half walked to the top; his claws digging into its uneven surface and casting down bits of grit.

BOOM! That's right, that's right! He was on top of the wall. The top. Like a friggin' cat. Inside he was giddy, outside he was chill. There were ladies nearby. He grinned down at the two wolves, looking all too pleased with himself despite his efforts to appear otherwise. Bowing grandly, he greeted the two lovely wolves. "Hello," his voice was a purr, and beneath its obvious purpose it was laced with warm humor. "Sucre the Magnificent at your disposal."
