You're Drowning.

OOC: if you are not a member of Amenti, an Adravendi, or someone swearing immediate fealty to syrinx you will be cast out in a violent manner. This is a warning that Syrinx will attempt castration on males and blinding to females
The lull of the night is enamouring and Syrinx pulls himself atop a piece of the gravel that is his home. Certanly, they had not grown keen to the idea of a life bereft of he, no? This was his domain and they could not forget who it was that started it. A dark simper pulled over his lips and his ears slicked back against his head. He would call to them--his loyalists and his lovers-- and he would make sure that they remembered his name. Any naysayers could be chased from the place with fire and he would hungrily lay in wait as they were devoured by their reckless ambitions. Shoulders rolled and tail erected into the air. His backside eventually finds the dirt below him and his head faces forward calmly. They were being summoned by their king. and their king had an entire agenda of new things to delve through. It was time for him to return power to his corner of the world. To his name. To his sisters. He would pave a path to victory for his daughters and the assassins they had all been bred to be would rise forward and he would make sure their talents were adored. The one he needed though. Virgil. She was to be his Queen, and her damnation was at his side. After all, she had fought for that and won it. |

He is back, and she cannot deny the fluttering her heart makes. Syrinx is her King, and the Secondary has done what she could in his absence. She is a woman now; grown and in her first season, feeling feverish and hormonal, yet controlled as ever. She arrives like a goddess, her posture tall and powerful, her fiery gaze locking upon the Arkhos. ?Syrinx,? she says fondly. Boldly she approaches, perhaps her hormones pushing her to approach so fearlessly. Her tongue seeks to rasp against the flesh of his russet cheek, before she steps back, taking a place which announces her position in the pride yet does not challenge the russet ruler?s authority. She settles onto her haunches, fitting into the role she has fought for almost perfectly. ?My family will be joining us here,? she tells him vacantly. For now, at the very least. Virgil has affections for the King, but she is not a weak enough woman to tie herself down for them. She is an Empress, a conqueror, and she knows better than any that Olympians do not live under the wills of others. They rise, they claim, and they expand all on their own. Syrinx?s pride would do for now, but in time Virgil would establish them with their own lands, provided one of her kin did not do so before her. |

Her father had called. His summon echoed through the tunnels, reverberating in her ears, lifting her from her resting spot. The russet girl moved with quiet grace, following the path to her father. It did not take long for the girl to find the monster, the caves had become her home and therefore easy to navigate. However, a strange woman sat beside him. One she had never met before. Blue and silver pools hardened, narrowing a fraction as she approached. Her gaze would slide from the woman to her father as she pressed her face into his shoulder, a brief show of affection.
"Who is that?" The question would roll off her tongue as she seated herself on the opposite side of her father, awaiting the arrival of her sisters. Her plume curled carefully around herself, the last time she had seen her father, she had told him that she wanted to pursue the field of a medic, to learn to kill not only with her jaws, but with the gifts of mother nature. But she would not fall helpless, she had demanded that she still train as a warrior beside her sisters, carrying on her fathers legacy. The time was coming, time for her to begin.

ooc;; Thread with Virgil is taking place before this, so I'm playing as though she's already a member.
Almost on cue the queen would arrive, nostrils flaring as she searched for the scent of an Olympian. She would find her niece, her matriarch, and approach slowly, following the sounds and scent carefully. Natalya nuzzled Virgil lightly on the side of her neck, before backing away and bowing for a long moment to the large presence at her side, one she could only assume to be the leader of Amenti recently returned. The disgust that boiled within her did not rise to her features, though it was tempting to rip the man's throat from his body before he could reassert his control. Natalya knew that she needed to show respect for the man, but she would not show too much of it. Her pride was too strong for such behavior.
She seated herself away from the third wolf that was present and wrapped her tail gently around her paws, keeping her faux gaze focused on the pair of leaders ahead. Why Virgil had chosen to offer her services to another was beyond Natalya, but she would never openly question the matriarch. As much as she wanted to simply stage a violent coup d'etat, she knew that there had to be something worth respecting in this man for her niece to allow her family to live beneath his rule temporarily. She trusted in the girl's judgment on this matter, despite her youth. After all, she had intelligent parents to model herself after.
What would this king expect from the wolves of Olympus? If it was complete fealty and submission, he would be quite displeased. Her family was simply too strong, too important. It would be interesting to see how the others handled this situation, and what would come of it.

She was missing, Silana was gone. Had he made the wrong choice bringing her here? Had he made a mistake in thinking that she would be content in these caves? Or had the spring taken her away from him, and his sister continued her wandering without him. No words, of course there had been no words, but no warning had been given to him - and he would attempt to rationalize her being gone within his own mind. Blaming himself, this was his fault, and yet no matter how much he knew he had failed it would not bring her back to him. Slow paw steps would bring him to the meeting area, toward Syrinx, toward the male that he had thought had seen him when he was young, only to realize it had all been untrue. A trick of his imagination, of the light, it was a lie wasn't it? This russet giant did not even know his name. Sullen and dejected, he would seat himself near the back of the crowd, dull mismatched eyes fixated on the ground beneath his feet. He would stand vigilant for a pack he did not understand or care to begin understanding. The only thing that kept him here, was that he had no where else to go.

Poison dripping off my fangs... D?gmar was waiting patiently by the border when a howl rank out, a mighty call that could only belong to the alpha. Her ears clicked forward. Sounded like a meeting summoning all those that were worthy to attend and was not she? Besides it would be rude of her to linger like a tick at the border of the clans coat waiting to be addressed by one whose attention was rightfully elsewhere. Standing up the mottle femme rolled her shoulders and stretched before sending out her own howl. A strong, clear note to alert the alpha once more of her presence and to let him know she was coming to him on good terms. D?gmar was not foolish enough to stride directly into any pack's territory. Picking her way through the forest she came to the gathering that rested outside a large cave. Approaching the gathering she spoke, both to alert their attention and to allow them to connect her voice to the previous howl. Though as she was neither stalking nor slinking she was fairly certain they'd heard her approaching. "I come seeking a pack of strength, where I might find the conditions to bring me to my full potential as a wolf. I am D?gmar Thyre and I am at your service if you will have me." |
