Sephiroth |
Retracing his familiar routes again for the upteenth time, Sephiroth had subconsciously made a narrow path from his den near the usual meeting place, to his other den at the bluff overlooking the shores towards the mainland. Never did he leave that particular area out of his sights long, unsure as to whether or not the threat of their enemy was really over. He hoped so though, and with his constant patrolling and overlooking every side of the island, they would not be missed should they try to invade. He had keen eyes, and from the spot where his den was facing out towards the water, he could always keep an eye on it. He slept little nowadays, and sometimes it showed when the tiredness in his eyes and sometimes in the way he would be sluggish in his attempts when hunting. Ever since they had arrived, Sephiroth took little time for himself. He had not really associated with anyone as most of his time was spent ensuring no ambushes or invasions were present. Let alone the one person that had initially led him to Valhalla without realization. If not for her, he would not be here so dedicated and devoted to his work and pack. He felt bad, for not being able to really speak or spend any time with Seraphine...He remembered to the time they had first met, he had been somewhat detached but somehow, her questions had brought him out from his closed mind. She had been curious about his bangles, and he began to wonder why he still wore them. But all he could think, was the same thing that he had told her then. They were reminders. |
