The wind whistled dangerously across the land as the ship that the woman was near creaked from age and damage. It appeared to have been abandon for decades, and everything about it seemed to have a murky and haunting feelings to it. The wind whistled past her lobes, as if it were doing so in her ear which caused her to shiver from the spooky sensations that were haunting her mind.

She walked into the ship and went to explore. It had a very old, steel structure with many scratches as the paint seemed to be tearing away from the age that possessed it. The floor boards creaked as her paws carefully stepped onto them as if they were about to break from the pressure and weight. Her eyes shimmered from the moon that shed it's light through the broken glass windows, the color of them a deep, yet emerald color.

"Why did I even explore this damn place?" she asked herself as she continued onward. One of the rooms appeared to be a dining hall with silk sheets that covered a table, and rusted utensils that appeared to be rusted. Esperanza tilted her head when she saw them, but ignored the metal tools. Many doors were open and many had beds and closets built into the wall. Sleep had soon overcame her as she leapt onto the bed and placed her head on her forepaws, and, almost instantly, she closed her eyes. Placing her cranium on top of her paws as her ebony colored tail wrapped around her form and stayed at her right side.

It was early morning, the sun having yet risen into the sky. Soft sounding steps fell upon cool metal of the abandoned ship that he had stumbled across. What was this place? There were some very, very faded scents. So faint he knew the place had been long abandoned. But still he was curious... until another scent, a fresh one caught his attention. Hmm? What was this? So someone had been here recently. A female, too, he noticed.

Curiosity drove Allen onward. He hadn't seen his nephew in some time but had no doubt in his mind that the young male was alright. Hajime was more than capable of taking care of himself now. Dark forest green eyes would glint with curiosity at what wolf would come visit the place. His nose would lead him into the depths of the strange structure. So many things he had never seen before. Things made of wolves... long thins that looked like they were made out of really straight fur... yet... not fur-like. It was hard to describe.

Finally the scent of the stranger would lead him to a room with a female sleeping on one of the strange things. She looked comfortable... maybe they weren't so bad? Allen would pause, ears perked forward curiously. The sun would be up in a little while... but he still felt about waking this female. The brute would let out a soft sigh, unsure what to do. Perhaps wait until she woke up? What if she thought he was some kind of creeper?

Esperanza opened her eyes the best she could and yawned slightly. The sun peaked through the window and shimmered, causing her emerald orbs to shine their light color. It took a couple seconds for her eyes to adjust as she looked at the brute before her.

"Can I help you?" The woman asked as best of a good tempered way as she could since being not a morning wolf. Her claws dug into the soft, silk blankets that covered the bed, her ears perked forward, slightly twitching as she looked around the ship's room she was in.

It had to have been abandon since she could not smell any fresh scents to approach this place. The wood was worn out and broken as some planks were missing from the floor. She leaped down off the bed and onto the wood, causing it to squeak under the pressure that came off of her form. She shifted her head slightly to look back at the male wolf, smiling in a friendly way.

The she wolf would rise shortly after the sun, Allen having not left his position near her. He honestly was hoping to talk to the wolf, even if she smelled of a pack... and not just any pack, but Glaciem. From what he understood pack wolves were not always so kindly to rogues like himself, though perhaps that could just lay within the temperament of the wolf in question. Allen was hoping for some sort of company, however, so the calcio brute would wait, tail flicking on occasion as he waited.

Luckily for Allen's sake she wasn't unfriedndly. Not really the morning type, he would guess, unlike himself. But that was alright, not everyone could be an early bird. She appeared to be a bit younger than him, Allen noticed, so she would definitely have some life experience under her belt. Allen would respectfully dip his head to the female as she rose, a smile gracing his features. "Just hoping for some company, madam. Forgive me if it seemed a bit strange to wait for you like this, I honestly meant nothing else by it."

Allen's gaze would follow the female as she got off the strange... soft thing... and onto the floor. He would rise, tail gently swishing against the backs of his legs. "My name is Allen Walker, and yours? That is, if you don't mind my asking, madam." He spoke with respect for her in his voice, not just because she was a pack wolf, but because she was a lady.

Esperanza smiled kindly and dipped her head in respect to the brute. Her emerald orbs looking into those of the older males, pearl colored canines showing slightly to the brute, but not in a bad way. "My name is Esperanza, but you may call me Esper," the dame continued to show kindness to the older wolf before her. "I may be in Glaciem, but I am kinder than most would expect me to be since I'm with them." She liked her pack, there were a few she was hoping she could become acquaintances with, but not knowing if that thought would ever come true.

Allen, as what the male said, was a unique name for a wolf like him. His brown or amber colored pelt showed some slight age, but she was happy to have met a male like him. She began to walk around the room on the ship, taking in the scenery that was before her as her orbs shimmered their green light slightly.

When she saw the male before her, she wished she could find a mate just like him, but not sure if that would ever happen since she was in a pack like Glaciem. Her ebony claws clacked on the wooden planks as she lied down, giving a small sigh and yawn as she looked back at the male. "I am kind of new to my pack, so I guess I don't have the kind of unfriendly things they do, but some are very nice, like me. Even though I haven't met many wolves from my pack yet." Wind began to pick up as it moved through the broken windows and began to make her fur move around slightly as her lobes followed the movements of the wind and her pelt.

Allen would watch her, conflicting feelings rising within himself. As much as he wanted company, he would remind himself to be on guard. This was, after all, a Glaciem wolf. Not every wolf was bad, yes, but it was a Glaciem wolf who was responsible for the murder of his sister. So even in Allen was being kind, under the surface he would keep up a small guard as she spoke to him. He would, at least, hope the female's words were true.

The female would lay down again before speaking. "It is true enough that some wolves from Glaciem may still be kind... and they are likely kind to each other... but, forgive me if this sounds harsh but in my eyes the pack as a whole is nothing but a lot of monsters." But Allen wouldn't get angry with her. No, he was merely speaking his mind. He would once again sit, ears facing the female.

"As a whole I honestly do not like your pack. It was one of them that murdered my sister after the war they caused with Valhalla. It is no fault of yours, however, so I find no reason to fight with you. If your words are indeed true and you are still new to the pack then it was well before your time." The brute would offer a gentle smile. "...and even in darkness there is light... and one can not merely make assumptions of an individual based on the group."

The male would dip his head. "So, all the same, I would like to say it is a pleasure meeting you, Esperanza, although..." He would trail off, forest green eyes getting a bit of a questioning look. "I can't help but wonder what brought you here. A thing of curiosity, really. I heard a while back a pack lived here... but they moved on."

Esperanza bowed her head in respect to the brute. Her green orbs looked into those of the male as he heard about what happened to his sister. Sadness overcame her. She liked to help other wolves, but, even though she was kind, she sometimes can be a bit emotional, and not in a good way. "I'm sorry that my pack killed your sister, and I sometimes don't know why I joined them when they just put me as a brood, but, I can be mean. Though, that is only if someone says something to piss me off. You, on the other hand, have not done anything to hurt me or make me mad, so I'm very kind to wolves like you." The ebony dame bowed her head respectfully to the brute as her emerald optics scanned him, and the ship they were in. A smile continued to come over her as she playfully pawed at his chest.

She shared in sympathy and compassion for his loss, which, for Allen, was a step forward in the positive direction for a Glaciem member. The fact that she didn't know she joined the pack did honestly worry Allen a bit. The brute would frown, listening to her explain. Put under the rank of a Brood... one simply there for making children. Allen inwardly scoffed in disgust. Not at Esperanza but at the male who dared give any self-respecting female such a rank. The damned albino king. Allen honestly couldn't wait to hear of the tale of his death. He doubted, or at least hoped, that it wouldn't be from old age. He wanted the bastard to suffer... he couldn't see any light or goodness in that man.

But Allen was distracted from his bitter anger as the ebony female as she playfully pawed at his chest. Allen would rise, a playful look in his eyes. Hell, why not? Maybe being friends with a Glaciem wolf wouldn't be too bad... and maybe... if she ever wanted to leave he could try and help her. The male would lower his front end to the ground, wiggling his tail in the air much like a pup would when they wanted to play. "You have ten seconds to run before the game begins. Go~!" Acting a bit like a pup again couldn't hurt either, right? Besides it was just them there... no one else had to know. His eyes were narrowed in a playful manner as he watched her, ready to go off after her once time was up.

Esperanza looked out amongst the brute before her, his tri-colored body bounding from the ship's boundaries that kept them both from plummeting from broken boards in the floor. Her emerald colored eyes watched the male play around with her, wagging his tail and acting as if he were a pup again; playing with siblings and his family members. A smile creased her facial features as she approached the brute, going into a play bow position. Her tail would wag to and fro from the sides of the air, sending cool our in different directions.

"Alright," she dashed through the ship, claws clacking on the worn-out boards as they squeaked from the pressure of her paws on top of them. A smile stayed on her features as she tried her best to hide. The wind smacked against the wooden frames of the window as they also smacked against the chipped, pale walls.

Lights were all around the rooms and boards, as if someone had neglected to take them away since the boat had been abandon anyway. Hanging lights hung along the rails of the ship, also sensing that they had been neglected to be taken down like the other things aboard the ship. Like in the other rooms, some of the boards were busted or close to caving in and plummeting to the floor below them. Each room had a different theme to it. The room Esperanza was in, was completely white in color, as well as the frames on the door, and the window panes.

"Allen will never find me here," she barked to herself as a snicker came over her, lying down underneath the dusty bed, sometimes having a sneeze come from her nostrils as she licked the mucus that had been around her nose. She winced in disgust that she must do that whenever she had sneezed, it made her feel like she was not feminine as she was made out to be. "Yuck..." she whispered as she tried to keep herself quiet as the femme waited for the brute to try and find her as if they were playing hide and seek.

Esperanza would respond to his playful antics with her own play bow, tail wagging back and forth through the cool, salty air. Dark forest green eyes would shine brightly, watching as she dashed off through the strange man made ship. He would give her a bit longer than ten seconds of course, wanting the game to at least be a little more interesting. He would look around the room, ears pricking forward as he looked out toward the hall. For a small period of time he could still hear Esperanza's movements, and then after a while he couldn't anymore. Once that was the case he would start to count, slowly, to thirty.

It took a small while, but eventually he hit his target number and set out after her. A small smile was on his features. When was the last time he had done something purely for fun, abandoning his adult tendancies to do something enjoyable? He would flick his ears forward as he calmly padded down the hall, mindful of places where the wood looked as though it was rotting the floor away. There was of course noises to be heard, from the gulls outside the ship to the windows that clacked against the ship with the movements of the breeze.

He would look around at the strange things made by man. The weird things hanging on the walls, from the "sky" of the ship. Each area looked a little different, though it had similiar stuff within it. Humans were odd creatures, to make such small territories so different. Did humans at one point fight to defend them? He didn't know... he wasn't entirely familiar with their sort. Allen would slow to a stop, scenting the air. He had lost the trace of Esperanza's scent since she had strayed closer to the front of the ship, the salty scent of the ocean invading his nose instead of her own.

He would enter first one room, and then another, looking around for the female anywhere he thought she might be able to hide. Though he was on his third room now Allen wasn't discouraged. He moved with energy, tail waving against the backs of his legs as he wandered. More and more he was wondering if he should ask Esperanza about abandoning her pack. Surely she could find a better home than Glaciem... and he could put his mind to rest about being so friendly with her. He would shake his head, brushing the thought away for now.

He had searched much of the room, and was about to leave, when he caught, for a moment, Esperanza's scent. He paused, turning back into the room and scanning it. His ears would prick forward, almost certain he had heard something. A sneeze maybe? But it sounded muffled. It was then that Allen would spy the bed. He would move close before letting out a mock sigh of dispair, as if he was giving up. Then, after waiting for a couple seconds, he would flip the blanket that hung over the side up onto the bed so he could gaze underneath. Sure enough there was Esperanza. A wide grin would cross his face and he would step back, giving her room so she could get out. "Found you~"

Esperanza would look out to see Allen, poking his head from underneath the bed. She yipped in surprise and chuckled like a little kid would if someone made her laugh. A small trickle of dust hung from her nose, causing her to sneeze once more as the string of dust found its way down to the bottom of the floor like a feather. "Yeah, you did find me," she grinned, giving him a small, playful nudge as she got out from underneath the bed.

"And I know what you might have been thinking lately, that I should abandon Glaciem, well, I don't know why, but I think I would like to stay in my pack. I may be different, and if they don't like it, then they can cry and whine all they wish. I'm not going to do anything to please the alpha, even though he does give me orders, I get hurt, I get hurt." She spoke to him with determination and will power.
