Paws skimmed over the sand on the beach he called home. Drake had remained close to the cove he resided in, it was his place of safety and comfort. The male had been experiencing depression the last season past, memories haunting him from time to time, and he becoming a hermit of life. It was unusual for him, for he was once a friendly and very charismatic young lad...but events happened, and it drove him to sadness. He walked along the shallows of the beach, the water washing gently over his white toes. The noon sun warm, the wind cool. It was an inviting day, perfect in fact. Hopefully today, the atmosphere would help him forget his worries...
He stared out across the ocean from time to time, wondering if those he knew back in his home continent were alive and well. His parents were gone, his eldest brother out for his blood, unfinished with what he had started. His youngest sister? He had no clue where she was. He was alone...at least, he felt that way. Nobody seemed to even know he existed, and he was unsure as to whether or not he should keep searching for his little sister. Did she even remember him anymore? Did she still look the same? He slowed in his steps, but kept moving. Lost in his thoughts.
