His first time in the North, and thus far it had been quiet. The cross marked male thought it too quiet, and yet he was glad it was so. He knew there was three packs here, two of which he heard to be hostile, while the other with the military wolves, he was unsure about. Either way, they were three packs he wanted to stay away from. He didn't trust any of them, and knew that if any of them came across the Black Clan members, they would try to lure them with sweet nothings. Words that held nothing but lies; of which the Clan was smarter then to fall for it. He had just gotten reunited with some of them, and there was no way he was going to lose them to power crazed wolves. Jinxx was a rather calm male, awkward at best around females he thought were cute, but also shy in certain situations. And as mature as he was due to the events of his clan, he was still a calm and quiet male in nature. He still retained the heart of a child. That was a possible explanation as to why he loved children, he did his best to care for his siblings young and old alike. Even strangers, whether he knew them or not. Unless they had motives that would potentially put his family in danger, then he would not hesitate to shut them out. It was simply for the sake of protecting him and his family, anyone would have done it.

He would stop above a slight ledge, overlooking the terrain. It seemed dangerous here, and the male thought it best to practice caution. This definitely would not be a suitable place to bring his family. They need a safe place; not a place that could potentially kill them. The noonday sun shone brightly upon him, illuminating the white of his pelt like new snow glinting in the dawn light.

Safety was definitely not a key point of their new home, but the move had been so sudden that, well, they hadn't had much choice in getting out quickly or time to scope out the new land they would settle in. Though the new lands they inhabited were dangerous there were also a sense of security about them too. Not too many would likely venture further in when they saw the state The Snowfalls were in so he doubted another pack would try to steal their home from him. The youth would let out a soft sigh.

He had felt so useless when he heard they had to move. He didn't know how to fight... or hunt. With only a couple adults they had focused more on making sure those who were still with the pack didn't stray, get lost, or get hurt. But all that same it didn't aid Emery's frustrations. If he had been stronger... older... could he have challenged the alpha to keep their home? The boy let out a soft sigh, traveling among the snow that covered the ground, teal eyes on the alert.

Emery was unaware that he was in view of another wolf, too lost within his own mind to take more caution.
