Silence enveloped the young male as he wandered into the dark cavern. Black ears moved about, listening to everything and nothing. These caves seemed to hold unseen voices, both enthralling and chilling him. Were the souls of those long gone living here? Did they choose to remain attached to this earth in some way? He only wondered...would the voices of his lost ones speak to him tonight? Or would he be left to continue searching for the missing ones? Jinxx knew not of who was still alive...Lunatik had devastated many, snuffed the lives of those that did not belong to him like a candle in a hurricane. That day, the land cried for the fallen warriors who were slaughtered in their sleep...and the ones who did fight, were no match for his brother's rabid intentions. He was blinded by pride and ambition, and he got it. But for how long? Someone would bring him down soon...

The lithe male would seat himself upon the cool stone floor, black striped tail resting over black painted paws. He sat and stared into the darkness, listening to the voices of sorrow all around him.

Thoughts

This place put a dark shadow over the dove of a fae's mind. Not only was it dark, arid and demonic within these caverns, but there was something about them that fascinated her at the same time. Maybe that was why she felt drawn to be there, it was an escape, but also a deserted, dark place. Feeling drawn to it for reasons unknown, the fae has found herself in those parts on a couple different occasions. Relaxing the moment she allows herself to enter one of the many tunnels that envelope the caverns infinite trails. With one large, flat paw in front of the other, the snowy fae made her way through the opening, encased with darkness as she refused to hesitate this time.

Shaking her dial momentarily the fae felt an overwhelming sense of silence and tranquility. Lavender optics a glow in the darkness, highlighting the long white eye lashes surrounding them. She walked very slowly, feeling the obsidian sands that enveloped her paws and sunk her delicate paw prints into their flat, untouched surface. A gentle though silent sigh escaped the fae's lungs, a glance to and fro, her auds laid back gently, and her dial carried low, equal to her shoulders. Her long tail balancing the slender dove's petite frame as she walked. Though without realization, she was slowly encroaching on another's quiet time as well.

Silence seemed to follow the young far where ever she went, birds hushing and wildlife slithering from her path no matter her mood. She had begun to make her way from the north a few days back, not moving in any particular direction or moving with any purpose. Paws dragged languidly across the various terrains she crossed, head and tail hung low as dull blue eyes watched the ground disappear beneath her. She had spent her first few months after leaving Amenti avoiding the company of others, hiding when she saw them approaching but now as she headed further away from her old pack lands she didn't hide from the presence of her own kind. But then again who needed to hide anyways? Most took pity on her at first but once they realized she couldn't or wouldn't speak their patience was short lived and they often left her. She couldn't blame them? Only her family had ever accepted her for what she was even with her lack of voice. Why had she ever left? How could she have ever left him? The only one who had ever wholly and completely accepted her and she had disappeared on him in the middle of the night, slinking off into the shadows like the silent wraith she was.

Just as she was today, slithering through the shadows. She didn't seem to mind or take notice to the fact that daylight turned into darkness as sand turned into stone beneath her paws. Toenails clicked against the rough stone beneath her and the sound echoed like screams around her. Slowly blue eyes would blink and ears would flitter around, the first sign of life from the young girl in quite some time, as the sound of her own paw falls began to register in her skull. Where was she? She paused in her trek and rolled her shoulders, noticing for the first time how tired her muscles were and how sore she was from all that walking. And when was the last time she had eaten? Brow furrowed as she gazed up at the stone ceiling above. A cave? She had wandered into a cave? A cave like the cave she had fled from? For a moment fear froze her and her nose worked franticaly to try and figure out if she was back in Amenti lands.

There were no pack scents around but there was the scents of other wolves? She reached forward with one blackened foreleg, followed by a cream hind and then she picked up her pace until she was moving at a walk once more. She couldn't quite pinpoint the exact location of the other wolf or maybe even wolves but they were around. There was a paw full of scents from other wolves, some fresh, some stale and others that were quite old. It wasn't until she walked almost face first into a black and white male that she realized she was a lot closer then she had originally though. Blue eyes snapped open wide and ears immediately pinned to her skull in shame as she back peddled to put distance between them and quickly. Tail curled swiftly between her hind legs as she regained her balance and lowered her head in a mixture of shame and protection. Though she had been lucky enough to avoid violence so far in her life she knew that some wolves could be violent and cruel. Aaron had told her that their old king could be quite cruel at times. How was she to know whether or not this male was trustworthy or not going to lash out at her?

"Two can keep a secret if one of us is dead my dear friend"

The words had ran through his mind so many times, and yet, they didn't mean a damn thing to him anymore. He was alive, maybe not so much as well, but alive and his friend... well you could say the poor sucker was dead just like he claimed the secret could be kept in only such a way. Rheily had been alone for quite some time, picking and scavenging through this life thinking of nothing more to it then just that. Can everyone just pick and flake through this life like so? Like he did, almost a gypsy soul but without the... how would one say, without the love for everything only the love for himself. Though his thoughts weren't exactly good or bad in most situations they probably hadn't been ontop of the sane list to many other wolves he'd ever ventured around.

Pads landed on the earth stirring up dust announcing his arrival to anything that wanted to know, he smiled at the forming dust clouds taking a deep inhaling breath through his nares. History. This land, whatever it was called, held so much he couldn't imagine the stories of how it all became and had gotten here. He was considered a theif of knowledge. Someone who wandered trying to catch the past of every wolf he encountered, attempting to learn their history and part with it. On a rare chance he was gifted with blessing, usually from the eldest of wolves, for granting them pardonship with their sins. He was nothing of a holy wolf and it bothered him to have to carry their so called 'sins' with him the rest of his life while they died calm and collected after years of suffering their secret guilts.

Golden eyes landed on three wolves. Interesting. No words were spoken, one stood seeming to stare, the other scented the air, and the tail tucking one... well her intentions were clear. A new target? He gave a wicked smile for a brief second and let his pillars carry him forward. He cleared his throat as he drew closer to the trio, dropping his body language to that of just a stranger.
"Excuse me, I'm sorry to have interupted anything. Can anyone tell me, what lands have I stumbled upon?"
Golden eyes shifted between the three and landed again lastly on the sunken female. He was confused, if she knew them this behavior must mean someone of respect was before, if not, she was clearly an omega minded submissive female. His tassle swept behind him once with a thought before he settled it in the back of his mind. His midnight colored pelt swayed in what little breeze there was and he took another deep breath mentally storing away their scents for later purpose, once he found one.
