So it seemed she had been right about Fal'Dara, Song had shared the information that the young girl was currently exploring and wasn't yet ready to return home. Novella had been tempted to try and follow her, at least venture with her to ensure that she wasn't alone though she wasn't sure whether she would take that offer as fondly as she once had done. She wasn't a child anymore for starters, and it would be rather hypocritical to try argue that she needed someone with her. Novella hadn't been all that much older herself when she has slipped out after her elder siblings, whilst they hadn't been too far away on the journey though they hadn't known she was following and so she'd technically been alone then.

All the same she still had that urge to venture out, there was a chance, although slim that she might see Fal'Dara, Lakota or Myth were still gripping the young Destruction girl and she couldn't help but take it. Even if she didn't, well she hadn't been lying when she said she wanted to explore for herself, become more familiar with the lands surrounding her home and so that would of course be considered the main reason for her leaving the Ludicael lands once more.

She knew full well that she should probably spend more time with the pack as well, beyond her lessons she still hadn't really spoken properly to many of her fellow pack mates beyond her family. Fixing that should probably be her priority though for now it seemed that this wandering around the lands was winning a little more. She had met others in her defence, Gwyndolyn and Desire?, the strangely coloured purple wolf so no one could claim she was trying to be unsociable.

It seemed that she was about to run out of land for the exploring in this direction. Paying attention to her surroundings suddenly she noticed that fact for herself. Her pace slowed now as she approached the edge of the cliff, not daring to get too close, though mismatched eyes did briefly peer over the drop before stepping back and simply looking at the view instead for a moment. Well, a quick rest she supposed and then time to head back.

Poison dripping off my fangs...

Ohh? where the hell had she landed herself this time? D?gmar peered over the edge of the cliff and whistled. That was a heck of a sharp drop down and a clear indication that the mottled femme had better change direction. Frowning she turned and headed back into the thicket. D?gmar was frustrated, true, but the feeling was swallowed up by the generally mellow mood that had fallen over the fae after a serious of brawls and love-making. It was the quiet that seemed to fall between her periods of activity. At one time she loathed them but now she embraced it and just let her body wander, her legs taking her wherever they would.

As she moved back into the thicket she noticed another wolf returning from the cliffside as well. Younger and wrapped in an ivory coat. D?gmar wasn't normally one for base socialization but she didn't know what else to do with herself. "Hell of a drop, huh?" She grinned as she paced toward the stranger. "What brings you out this way, stranger?"

The land didn't belong to any pack, Novella had been careful in her wanderings to avoid any trespassing, all the same though the fact that it was free land meant that anyone could walk on it. It certainly wouldn't really be a surprise to see another and yet all the same she hadn't counted on finding any company, the thought of it was far out of her mind as she sat in silence gazing out at the rest of the world.

"Hell of a drop, huh? What brings you out this way, stranger?" The sudden voice would break that imagery that she was so isolated up here away from everyone else and her head would quickly turn to look over her shoulder to see who had interrupted the quiet. She wasn't a wolf of Ludicael, that much Novella was certain of and all that really mattered was she was a stranger. It wasn't necessarily a bad thing, strangers could simply be possible friends if you gave them a chance.

"Yeah, it is." She agreed, glancing down once more before shifting her position slightly to angle more towards the wolf, easier to look at her as they spoke, not that Novella had any idea how long the conversation might last. "I was just walking and I guess I ran out of land. Anything in particular that's brought you this way then? It only seemed fair to ask the question in return.

Turning the creme-pelted femme greeted D?gmar politely. The darker femme chuckled a little at the comments of the stranger. She knew how that could be. When her thoughts knotted up in her head she travel miles and miles to unknot them and often find herself in the strangest of terras. She supposed that was how she ended up here.

The other was an interesting looking wolf with her mismatched eyes and unusual markings. She smelt of others but D?gmar didn't recognize the scent if this femme was indeed from a pack. However, she seemed to be of a fairly gentle disposition and the green-eyed fae doubted very much that such a pack was what she was looking for.

Smiling D?gmar shrugged. "I'm a loner, wandering's kind of what I do but yes, you could say I was lost in thought as well and found myself here." Rolling her shoulders forward the femme fatale stretched for a moment before uncoiling her body with a soft sigh. "I'm D?gmar Thyre, by the way. What's your name? You're from a pack of some sort, right?"

Novella had spent very little of her life as a loner, and it meant that she wasn't quite as experienced in these sort of wanderings. Of course she'd certainly travelled far but since arriving in Alacritis she'd never strayed far from the East; she'd never strayed far from Ludicael. She wasn't striving to escape her pack of course, though she was certainly attempting to break past the little area she'd explored so far. Slowly but surely she was achieving this, there was still plenty more places for her to explore, even in the East alone she was finding new places like this.

"I'm a loner, wandering's kind of what I do but yes, you could say I was lost in thought as well and found myself here. I'm D?gmar Thyre, by the way. What's your name? You're from a pack of some sort, right?" To be honest Novella certainly couldn't imagine ever being a proper loner. The exploration side of things would perhaps be rather interesting but she needed the company of others around her, her family in particular. "Yes, Ludicael. It's not too far from here." She responded. "My name is Novella Destruction."

Evening was beginning to fall as the sun dipped lower in the horizon sending orange hues cascading across the terra. Clouds hung low in the sky, splitting the light as it fell. D?gmar closed her eyes for a moment, capturing the sight in her mind. She wasn't one for frivolous sights. She was a beast of earth and stone and blood and reality. Fleeting moments held little pleasure for her but in this low moment, a rare moment of peace, she decided she would hold to it, maybe it would come in handy one rainy day. A view of a distant sunset.

Her eyes opened as the other femme spoke. Ludicael? She had not heard of that pack before though she doubted it would be a place for one such as her. "Ludicael? I have not heard of that pack. What is it like there? I do not mean to prey of course, you need not answer but I have been seeking a pack myself."

The arriving sunset meant that Novella probably ought to think about getting back home sooner rather than later, though she was far too polite to actually state or show that fact in anyway. Daegmar seemed nice enough, so Novella would talk with her for a little while at least, the company wasn't completed unwanted anyway, she didn't mind meeting new people at all.

"Ludicael? I have not heard of that pack. What is it like there? I do not mean to prey of course, you need not answer but I have been seeking a pack myself." It wasn't really often that Novella found herself being asked about her pack, and in truth she wasn't quite sure how to respond. The first thing that often stuck out in her mind of course was her family, the fact that the pack was led by her sister though such details were hardly of interest to those that were not members of the Destruction family.

"I like it there." She responded simply. "A lot of the members are nice, we're quite a friendly pack." She supposed it was the best way to describe it, at least the best she could manage without going into too much detail about things anyway.

D?gmar supposed she had better be on her way but that was one trick to being a loner. She didn't really have anywhere to go nor a time to go there. She had only a direction that she would head in for awhile before turning back and going in another. Her goal was to join a militant pack. To train and spar until her strength and skill was pushed to the breaking point. D?gmar listened politely to Novella but it was clear to her that Ludicael was not the place for her. Nice and friendly were the last things she was looking for. Her tail flicked and she held back a sigh. She had almost gotten her hopes up though not too far. After all this Novella was so polite she would not have expected Ludicael to be otherwise.

Stretching D?gmar rolled her shoulders forward. "Ah? sounds lovely though not quite what I am looking for. Thank you though, I appreciate your answer. Well.. it is getting late and I best be off. Good luck to, Novella." With that parting statement D?gmar turned back to disappear into the thicket.

Her answer was hardly the most helpful in the world, Novella knew that much though she hadn't anticipated that those few words might possibly mark the end of the conversation. "Ah? sounds lovely though not quite what I am looking for. Thank you though, I appreciate your answer. Well.. it is getting late and I best be off. Good luck to, Novella." D?gmar was already moving now, and Novella was left feeling somewhat bemused and not entirely sure what to do about the situation now.

She almost called after the other to wait. What she would say beyond that though she wasn't entirely sure. For whatever reason Ludicael wasn't suitable, perhaps she could offer to tell her more about other packs, though she knew nothing about any of the other packs really and certainly had no information to offer. To attempt to do so would be foolish and a complete waste of everyone's time. It seemed that perhaps D?gmar simply sought her company upon realising she was part of a pack, rather than for an actual conversation and the chance to make a new friend. It was a relatively alien concept to the girl, but them she had never exactly had to search to join a pack before, had no idea how much of a struggle it could possibly be. "Bye D?gmar." She called back. "I hope you find a pack." It was a shame that Ludicael wasn't suitable in her mind, though she genuinely meant her words, it probably was rather awful to be a loner.

Mismatched eyes watched the form move away for a little longer, mind contemplating her next move. There certainly seemed to be nothing else to do here, and she had planned on heading home herself once she had finished speaking with D?gmar, though she hadn't thought for a moment that the conversation would be over that quickly. Seeing as it was though, it was rather obvious that it was time to make her way back to Ludicael. Lifting herself to her paws, she took one final glance at the view over the cliff before walking away from the edge and back home.
