The warm breeze tickled at his fur. His eyes slowly began to flutter shut. This rare breeze was such a treat. He was rather close to the edge of the cliff, bit the height did not bother him. He was no acrophobic. He liked heights, to see the world looming below. There was near to no disturbance in this area. Just a trail left by something rather large. He was absorbed in pure bliss. The breeze was providing a tiny amount of relief from the scalding hot sun. He had very light fur and her felt very sorry for anyone with long and dark fur. His had thinned out for summer. One eyelid opened, gazing lazily around. He had hoped to find his brother around the East, as that's where he had been split from him.

"Talk." Think.

The goddess basked underneath the leaves of an old birch tree. She was surprised that the leaves and grass underneath had managed to stay so lush in the searing heat of summer. This summer was particularly harsh, a test from her ancestors, the gods. Only the strongest would do well. Her tail swayed from side to side, ruffling the grass and sweeping the dry dirt from side to side.
Fiery eyes opened and she cast her gaze downward, to the point in which the bare cliff jutted out. A small wolf stood there. He had a creamy pelt and a stocky build. The little man was standing at the cliff-edge, gazing down bealow. Ugh. Would she have to bother to converse with this man? She hoped not, it was beneath ber.
