Set in the future in a fictional city called Low-water the country that people live in have banned anything out of the ordinary to gender and sex labels. No gay marriage, no sex changes, nothing. This being due to a deadly rebellion after gay rights were tried to be implemented, making many fear not living true to their gender and fear being attracted to the same gender. Being gay or trans gender is punishable by death in severe cases. Since it is seen as genetic, there is no going to therapy in the hopes of changing back it is simply imprisonment. The age of arrest is sixteen, and the death penalty can be given at the age of eighteen. The story centers around a man in his mid thirties who has hidden the fact he was gay since he was a child, but has always attended secret underground clubs. He meets a gay youth who has come to the club to get away from every day life with his family always criticizing gays and trans genders.


Opinions? Good not good?

I don't *personally* read books that focus entirely on sexuality. I prefer sexuality - among other things - to be a side-effect of plot rather than the plot itself, otherwise it feels preachy to me. Just not *my* thing. Just like some people don't care for space-centered books. :) I'd imagine there's a pretty good amount of audience for it though, so I think it's a good story idea regardless of whether I myself would read it or not.

That's cuz this is mainly a gay type story replacing the other romance one I was writing xD I have a mystery if your interested tea. About a girl who discovers her brother was murdered instead of it being a car accident.
