[ Joining ] I Just Want To Feel Accepted

Misha made her way into The Red Forest, looking up at the sky. It had turned grey white like the color of the fae's paws and recently began snowing. She smiled and shook her pelt, for she loved the snow. Being a Timber wolf, she was built for the snow. Misha dipped her head to the ground and sniffed, smelling the pack's territory scent borders. The pack she was here for was Tortuga. The female wasn't fully sure about this pack- for she knew simply nothing about them or how they might react to a new comer at their borders. Misha meant no harm; for she never did. And she hoped the pack of Tortuga knew that.

The white woman had been patrolling the edge of the forest when she scented a stranger. Snow as falling slightly distorting her vision yet still she was glanced around- seeing no one yet. Her interest peaked, she strolled towards the smell, her violet eyes coming to rest on a meek looking female. Approaching her slowly, her body relaxed so that she didn't frighten her, she drew to a halt at the border. "Greetings, stranger. What brings you to Tortuga?" She inquired, her tone soft though commanding an answer. Roman had no interest in harming her, she hadn't stepped over the border- hadn't done anything wrong. She did lurk however, and Roman was always curious about those who lurked. She settled back into a sitting position, her thick tail coming to wrap around her, ears would flick off a stray snow-flake as she waited for a response.

The red brown, white, and grey pelted female's eyes scanned the area, positive one of Tortuga's higher rankings would show up soon enough- especially with the scent of a new female. Misha squinted her eyes and smiled as a female came to the border and began to speak with Misha. Misha flicked her ears at the question, sighing nervously. What did she have that she could tell them? 'Oh hi, I'm Misha and I would like to join your pack because I'm weak, and have trust issues.' Misha mentally kicked herself and looked up at the female, a small smile appearing on her maw. "Hello, milady. I am Misha," she bowed in due respects to the higher rank in front of her, "And I came here to join Tortuga.."

Her violet eyes flicked easily over the stranger, and she relaxed her body, as she spoke- so she wanted to join Tortuga. "Hello Misha. I am Roman, Roman Armada- The Queen of Tortuga." She would introduce herself, her voice soft but regal. "You wish to join Tortuga? What skills do you bring us, Misha?" She would ask, though she wouldn't be quick to turn away anyone from their borders. Not when they desperately needed wolves. However she would reserve official judgement, until the meek wolf before her would speak again. Though Roman doubted that she would turn her away- she figured she had some potential. Everyone wolf had some sort of skill, some sort of use. She wasn't quick to turn anyone away- unless given a true reason. So she would wait, wait to see what Misha would say- wait to see how Misha would sell herself.

"I can sing, swim, run, and climb.." Misha began to trail off, realizing that she had blurted out her skills to the female without asking for specifics. Well.. That was literally all Misha could do. Sing, swim, run, and climb. Her strongest skill was singing, second strongest strongest swimming, and so on. Misha couldn't really learn anymore skills; for she was a slow learner and had to have at least some experience with the skill. She wasn't the best at hunting- she was pretty much shit in hunting. All she could really hunt was small animals, and even that sometimes took a bit too much effort from the female. Misha looked up at Roman, wondering what the Queen would do with such a wandering stray as Misha around these parts.

The wolf before her didn't present many skills or options for what Roman could do with her. She supposed she could always use a runner in case things went south- and someone to stay with pups when pups would run in the territory. Sing, what use would the Queen have for singing? She mentally shook her head, supposing that she would never really know. Something about the frail seeming woman before her made Roman not want to turn her away- perhaps Roman could find some use for her. A aid to a healer? Run and fetch herbs and things. She weighed her options for a few moments, debating on what to say to her. Climbing could make her a decent spy if need be. Roman wondered if the meek woman could make it on her own, but could she really accept a wolf to keep them from starving to death. "Do you think you could learn how to hunt with some training, working in a team or hunting small game?" She would ask gently, trying to come up with a viable reason not to turn away the female. The stray wolf had to be eating something to stay alive- even if it was small game. "Do you get along with children?" She pushed further. No one in the pack had pups yet, but as the pack grew- finding someone to sit with children while the adults hunted and patrolled would be necessary.

Misha stiffled an anxious sigh, looking up at the Queen of the pack Tortuga. "I.. Am decent at hunting, but never really have been the best.." Misha said, clearing her throat after she heard the next question that fell out of Roman's mouth. A small smile began to appear on Misha's maw, nodding. "Why yes.. I simply love pups. For they are adorable, sweet little furballs of joy," Misha said with a soft giggle. The red brown, white, and grey pelted female known as Misha smiled up at Roman, wondering what the female would be thinking about Misha's offer.

Roman seriously found herself doubting the ability of the soft hearted female before her to survive on her own. That was what she told herself anyways, when she made her decision. It wasn't that she was turning into a softy. Standing, she would smile at Misha, "I think you'll do well here. Welcome to Tortuga Misha." Stepping aside, she would allow the other woman to cross into the thick forest. Would she need to escort her about, or could she let her explore on her own? She hesitated for a moment, waiting to see what Misha would say and do. Mentally, she thought about the female before her- hoping that she'd find her niche in the pack- and maybe settle in decently. All Roman could do was hope, at least the numbers of Tortuga were swelling finally.

Misha widened her blue grey eyes at the female and smiled. Misha was actually happy. She had been accepted. Misha stepped over the borders and into the Tortuga's territory of The Red Forest. No, her territory of The Red Forest. Misha smiled brightly and bowed at her Queen. "Thank you so very much for accepting me into your pack." Misha was finally accepted. Maybe not wanted, but for now accepted. She took a sniff in the air and smiled, for this was her home now. Her pack. Her family. Where she belonged.
