Part of his duty as a druid was to foster peace between packs in the land, and to that end travel between them as a neutral party carrying news and learning to share equally among them. It was a part of his calling that he generally enjoyed. In the time he spent away from each pack as he traveled to the others, things changed, time always wearing away at things and reinventing them so that it was nearly new again when next he visited.

So as he set out to acquaint himself with the packs in this new land it was with a jaunty step and a cheerful song, moving at a fast clip toward the nearest of the packs. The song faded and the jaunty turned to caution as he moved closer to the lands claimed by the pack. A thoughtful hrmm vibrated his chest when he came to a stop at the scent marked border. He peered into the misty forest, eyes squinting to try to see anything. Well, no sense putting it off.

Raising his nose to the sky Bard sang out a long clear note, a pleasant and polite request for someone to come to the border. The howl was muffled by the mist, but it traveled far enough, he was sure, and he settled himself to wait, amusing himself by running through the history of his homeland from the farthest reaches of their oral histories, by pack. It could, after all, be a long wait, and even his memory could use refreshing.

Silver crown would lift, brows furrowing in confusion. The howl echoed in her ears, it was unlike all the other calls she had gotten from members wishing to join. This one was polite, pleasant even, far from imposing. Limbs would push her bodice upward, the Queen stretching like a feline before proceeding. It would take the Queen around ten minutes to reach the man and when she did so, she would come a stop several feet away. Coral eyes scanned the marbled brute, a brow lifting curiously in his direction. "Can I help you?" He didn't appear to be interested in joining, nor did her appear to be the type that would fit into Elysium, but she would hear him out before making a decision, though he clearly wanted something.

Bard's wait was surprisingly short, considering that the call of a druid was unknown in these lands. Before too long a pale shape had appeared in the misty forest, a coral-eyed beauty who held herself confidently. Bard's brows twitched upward, and a hum of appreciation vibrated in his chest. Heavens, they did grow them big and pretty here didn't they? She cut a most elegant figure standing there in the mists. "Dia dhuit. A fine morning tae ye, my lady." He bowed gallantly to her. "I am Bard Ciaran, known as Bard. I am a druid, and as is the duty of my order I am seeking tae become acquainted with the packs in this land, tae serve as a neutral intermediary between the packs and a vessel for the knowledge and history of the region, among other things." He had drawn himself up as he spoke, his pride in his calling evident. "Truly 'tis that I am extending the paw of friendship, rather than asking for anything of ye," he added, a calm smile turning up one side of his muzzle.

The man was quick to introduce himself, bowing before the Queen. She would nod in acknowledgement, as he continued to speak, getting on to the point of why he was here. A brow lifted as he called himself a druid. She had never heard of such a thing. If it were possible her brow would have lifted even higher as he spoke of being a neutral party between all the packs. "Thats quite a task for one man alone." Silky words would drift in his direction, intending to caress his ears, to wrap around his mind like a vice.

An easy smile turned up his dark lips as he watched her, waiting. "Friendship is a hard thing to come by now days." Seduction oozed from her pours and dripped from her lips as she spoke. The man was tall, his frame thin yet well toned. Her gaze lazily rolled over him, appreciating the sight. "Have you been to any other packs?"

She was curious to know where else he had been, who else he had spoken to. Had other packs agreed to such a strange thing? The only reason she listened to him was because he could prove to be valuable. And he was more than pleasant to look at. She noticed a strange accent that seemed to tinge is words, it subtle, changing only the small words he spoke, but it was attractive nonetheless.
