Colored paws would slide over the smooth surface of the cavern, a trail of black being left behind. Sal would be standing on his hindlegs as he did this, creating two vertical arches, the top being larger than the bottom. After that he would drop to all four and take a step back, head tilting to the side as he inspecting his handy work. Violet orbs would then travel to the floor, focusing on the butterfly wings that he was painting. Almost perfect, his was just a tiny bit lumpy on the larger arch, but that's only because his foreleg was getting cramped. With a happy wag of his tail the boy would take a step to the side and dip his paw in a pile of black goo he made for painting the outline, then would rear back up and begin making the other wing.

The black butterfly would casually stroll into Stylianos Crypt, sniffing the air. She was fairly new to this place, but she enjoyed exploring and discovering new wonders like this one.
She would sulk against the cave wall and stay hidden in the shadows like a hidden shadow which was unknown. The black butterfly would watch as the male would lift and arch against the cave walls, creating a butterfly. Mari's smile would spread in a smile, watching him with illuminating eyes. It intrigued her that he was drawing a beautiful butterfly. Her orange pools rested upon the butterfly. "So you like butterflies, huh?" She called out, revealing herself.

The boy would not stop his painting, even when a voice spoke, asking if he liked butterflies. The bottom arch would be created, and so he would drop down to all four and walk away a few feet and stop, dipping his paw into a small pool of water then whipped it against the floor to clean off the black paint. ?They are pretty, I like pretty.? He finally spoke in good tones, very friendly. Once his paw was clean enough he would turn back and gaze at the dark woman with violet orbs, his gaze focusing on her orange eyes a moment before going over her completely dark body then back to her eyes. Compared to her, Sal was just an inch smaller and had more colors to his fur. He mostly had a dark pelt, with grey on the back his ears and underside... and he had colors decorating his face and lining the grey on his body.

?I need to color it in still.? And with that he turned away form the woman, plopping himself down in front of a few piles of colorful goo. Tail wagged behind him as he tried to think of which one to use first, should he go with blue or red? Or maybe he should start with a light green and orange. ?What color do you think I should start with?? He turned his head towards the female, goofy smile plastered on his face.

Mariposa smiled in small delight when she knew that the male had noticed Mariposa. He was only an inch shorter than her and he was a wolf with more colors than her black pelt. His eyes were a pretty violet color, and Mari liked that. She turned to face the painting once he had asked her what colors he should use to fill it in with. "Well," Mari said thoughtfully, "Color it from your heart. Close your eyes and go with instincts. Don't know, just act." With this, Mari would get up and stretch her long slender body, the black beauty yawning. She felt a sharp pinge of pain on her left shoulder and neck area, the wound from the fight with Cat not being fully healed yet. But, the black butterfly ignored the pain, somewhat proud of the first scar that was given to her was from the Elysium Queen.

Ears twitched as the woman spoke, telling the boy to color it from his heart, close his eyes and go with instincts, and if he didn't know, then just act. The first part he almost spoke out against, how could he paint from his heart when he always had a rainbow there? The first time he had done it that way he had made a mess in his den, colors all over the place, caked on top of another color. But if he should act, then he would go with a mix of red and orange, yes, that sounded good. ?Red and orange, red and orange.? He sang lightly in smooth tones, tipping his right paw into the orange goo and left into the red. Carefully he would rise up and stand on his rear legs, planting his left forepaw on the left upper wing and the right paw on the right upper wing. ?Pretty pretty, gonna make you all pretty little butterfly.? Humming quietly to himself, paws going in small circular motions while tail continued to wag happily.

While happily doing his thing the male glanced over at the she-wolf, head tilting at an awkward angle, only a small bit of pain in his neck from it. "I'm Salamander, does the girly wolf have a name too?" He asked curiously, his way of speaking and going at things... different from how most would would act. With a flick of his ear the boy would turn back to his painting, bringing his right paw over to the left wing and began to mix the colors.

Mariposa smiled at the male, watching him as he lifted himself up onto his hind legs, and mixing the reds and oranges into the wings of the butterfly. She would nod in reply when he asked if the girl wolfy had a name. "Yes, my name is Mariposa." The black beauty smiled up at the male, continuing to fill in the wings of the butterfly. Mariposa padded her way over to the goopy goos of the colors displayed before her. She dipped a black paw into the orange, watching it reflect, the color almost like her eyes. "These are beautiful," The black beauty said as she lightly dragged her right paw against the cave floor, creating a few random lines.

?Mariposa.? He hummed, each syllable earning a circle of paint mixing as he said it. From the corner of his vision the male watched the woman pad over to his paint mixtures, narrowing slightly wen she dipped a paw in one of them. Silently he would growl, those were his paints, and he didn't like people messing with them, even if they were nice like this female. He wouldn't voice this growl however, just his paw stopping its circular motion so he could watch her inspect the goos. The one she had dipped a paw in was his orange, similar to her eyes and she even called them beautiful before running her paw across the floor.

?Met nice lady in north, we figured out how to make the paints.? He told her, carefully stepping to the side and began to color the right wing with his red left paw like how he did the orange onto that side. ?Circle, circle, circle. Mix, mix, mix.? He hummed quietly with a smile, his head bobbing with each circle as well as his tail. ?You should do like me and paint on wall, that way no one steps on it.? After a few moments he dropped back down to all four, wasting no time in padding off to their right to dip and clean his paw in a puddle of water that leaked in from the cracked roof.

Mariposa smiled. "Yes, and what is the colorful wolfy's name?" She asked, followed by a soft giggle. She glanced up when the male had told her to draw on the wall instead of the floor so no one could step on her painting. "Hmm, okay.." She dipped her right paw in the orange again and put a paw print up against the cave wall. Hmm, Mariposa thought to herself, her orange eyes burning with curiosity and creativity. The black pelted fae lifted her right paw and pressed it up the cave wall again, making two more paw prints like her first one. She smiled and then dipped her left paw in the red, pushing herself up onto her hind legs and putting her left and right paw onto the cave wall, one after the other, creating an array of orange and red hues of her paw prints that almost looked like a sunset.

Finished cleaning his paws of the red and orange paint, the boy would turn back to see that the lady did what he suggested, putting pawprints on the wall. Lips pulled back in a grin, tail wagging as he slowly approached, coming up on her right side. Looking down at the goo piles Sal would think of the next color he would use, probably the blue one and a bit of yellow, then use green to outline them. Before he could add those however he had to wait for the red and orange mixture to dry, that way they didn't all mix into a big ugly color when applied. ?Gotta wait for it to dry first.? He said in soft tones, mostly just talking to himself when he said it. Violet gaze would look away from the goo and over at Mariposa's handywork, red and orange pawprints filling the wall, colorful almost like the sky when the sun goes over the horizon. ?Very nice, I like it.? He told her with a few quick nods of his head.

Mariposa smiled softly at the brute male known as Sal when he complimented her on her painting. "Thank you," she said with a smile. She glimpsed at his own masterpiece and nudged his tail with her own. "Nice pretty painting you've got there, as well," Mariposa said as her ears twitched a bit, her orange brightly colored irises watching the dark male, wondering what he would say and or do next. The Black Butterfly then quickly glanced over to her own pretty painting, giggling softly. She would then turn her full attention on Sal, a small smile on her maw.
