It had been a while now since her accidental tumble out of the den that had led to the start of her explorations, though there was certainly nothing accidental about the way Andromeda travelled around the lands now, attempting to discover as much as she could. Whilst the lands of Ebony probably wouldn't be her home for that much longer, the young Olympus child of course wasn't aware of that fact, not even knowing what lay beyond these lands. Slowly but surely her ventures were taking her a little further on her own accord, though all still within the confines of Ebony.

She was all alone on this occasion of exploring, and had discovered a new area to explore. It was all rather fascinating here, plenty to see and she though it would certainly make hide and seek far easier when challenging her brothers, though of course be little different for Gaia really apart from avoiding the various obstacles. Strangely shaped rocks protruded from the ground, some in a crumbled heap whilst others had roomy spaces much like a den if she could compare them to anything. The ruins were still so unlike anything she had ever seen though and slowly she moved closer to the odd place, curious to explore.

The very young Olympus heir was not one to go off exploring by herself, she didn't know where she would end up if she followed a random scent. She didn't have a fear of becoming lost, she could always follow her scent trail back, but running into something was a huge fear. She was quickly coming to realize how different she was from the other pups, they were sight born while she was not. She hadn't decided if she was special because of it, or just handicapped by her lack of visuals. Sometimes it seemed a blessing, she could hear better, smell better, and talk more clearly than most of her siblings. Gaia would also struggle with the curse of it. She wanted to know what colors were, what her mother's face looked like, what she looked like. She would struggle daily with her lack of sight, trying to decide which of the categories it fell into. The more she thought about it though the more depressed she seemed to feel. So instead of sulking in the den, she would decide to become brave and try to follow after her explorative sister.?

She would not be too hard to follow, Gaia would keep her nose to the scent trail, continuously worrying about ramming her nose into fallen logs and thorn bushes. She would be very much slow going, but with patience she would fall within her sister's presence. "Andi!" she would call, unsure where she was with all the exploring she had done. Her scent seemed to be everywhere, which would make it seem to Gaia that her sister was in all places at once. "Where are you?" she would call with confusion in her voice as her rump fell to the ground. Her ears would swivel to find the sound of her sister's paw steps as she waited the approach.?

The strange rocks didn't look any more normal the closer she got to them, not that Andromeda had really seen much of the world to even say what normal tended to be in the first place, all she knew was it seemed very different from The Rock Garden, the area she'd been born in and taken her first adventures into the world. All the same though, the Olympus girl would continue forwards determined not to turn around just yet, she had to explore a little more and achieve something before she could go back to the den and her siblings.

"Andi!" For now the nickname didn't bother her too much though only time would tell how she'd feel about such a cute sounding name as she grew older, more mature and learnt about pride and respect. Ears would prick at the sound of her sister's voice though and head would turn to look back towards her. "Where are you?" The single question of confusion was enough for her to turn around and move towards Gaia. "Hang on. I'm coming." She informed her, reassuring her that she was close and had heard her.

She'd nuzzle the girl in comfort and greeting as she finally reached her side. "You want to come with me?" She would question, not sure whether Gaia would really want to explore or not. "There are a lot of strange rocks around. I'll keep close." She thought she had better warn her before leading her closer to the ruins, and of course promise not to leave her to collide with any of them.

Gaia's ashen grey form would sit and patiently wait her sister's response, she would anticipate a reply because why wouldn't she. Andromeda had no reason to hide from her, though she wouldn't have put it past their brother Nemesis to ignore her. The small girl would certainly not wait long, almost immediately after her call she would pick up the sound of her sister's voice. Gaia would bring her frame to its full height as she took a fee timid steps towards the sound of her sister's voice. She would Not lie as suddenly her shoulder was being nuzzled, and she would return the gesture as Andromeda voiced her question. "Y..yes. I want to explore and find some new scents." nodding her head with determination, pushing her side against her sister as she promised to stay by her side. "What's it look like?" she knew there were dangerous rocks around, but there had to be a visual reason her sister had found herself here. She hadn't smelled anything too extraordinary.?

Perhaps if Gaia could be as annoying as Nemesis could at times Andromeda would have left her waiting a little longer before replying and going to her aid though her sister certainly wouldn't be left to that fate, especially not when she sounded quite so nervous and unsure about the surroundings. It was all rather strange to her and she had all of her senses in tact to navigate, Gaia may have gotten along rather well though there was no way that Andromeda would ever envy her for the lack of sight.

"Y..yes. I want to explore and find some new scents." She didn't sound quite so sure to begin with, though her actions seemed to suggest a little more confidence. "Alright" She spoke simply, acknowledgement of her sister's words. Keeping the contact, the golden Olympus girl would begin to move forwards once more, guiding her sister at a slow pace through the ruins.

"What's it look like?" The question was never one that Andromeda really knew where to begin with. Gaia for starters had no comparisons for different objects, it didn't make the job easy for describing things which, as she was still learning about the world herself, was a tricky task to start with. "There's not really too much else other than the rocks really. But there are so many of them. Some are in big piles, some look a little more like the den, with walls and space to go inside."

Being so far from the den was a bit unnerving, but she was comforted by the presence at her side and the simple agreement her sister offered. She would find it easy to step forward, the presence at her side allowed for her to walk upright. She would feel the gentle movement of her sister's fur against hers, and her paw steps would fall in line with the other girls movement. She knew how fast her brothers and sisters normally traveled, much faster than she would ever hope to go. She knew how slowly Adromeda was taking things for her, an she would only wish that she didn't have to handicap her sister too. She knew that it couldn't be easy catering to her needs, but she really did want to explore. She was so thankful her sister was so patient with her, and would do her best to answer her difficult question. Gaia would try to visualize the surrounding area. She knew what rocks were, and that they came in many different sizes and shapes. She would perk her ears as her sister spoke, and would push herself closer to the other girl. Stubbed toes did not sound very appealing. "it sounds like it would be a fun place." to play with you if I could see. she would sigh as their trip continued. Gaia's nose would be held in the air to catch and new scent, and her ears would swivel around seeking any new noises.?

Andromeda had been first out of the den, albeit through an accident and certainly not the last to adjust to the big wide world. She had quickly become rather inquisitive about various things and exploring seemed like the natural thing to do. Her only care about being so far from the den was the absence of some of her family members, though with Gaia at her side the company of her sister would do wonderfully for now.

"It sounds like it would be a fun place." The very same thoughts had crossed her mind, the obstacles would make any chasing games interesting and hide of seek would be far more challenging here. Her sister's tone would make Andromeda feel a little bad about it though, for the place was hardly the greatest for Gaia, the obstacles would simply make life difficult for her. She remained silent, unable to lie to her about it, and most certainly unable to agree with her.

Fortunately an excuse for her lack of answer had arrived anyway. Pulling slowly away from her sister, Andromeda would move to the side. "Be careful, there's a rock you could trip over coming up. Come this way." She would remain close enough for Gaia to easily close the distance and once they had avoided the little pile of rubble, she would set their direction forwards once more.
