Memories haunted the golden fea, memories of fire, of ash, of storms that separated her from her remaining pack mates. She looked up toward the moon that shone down, lighting up the world around her. Here there were streams filled with clear, cool water with long, draping willow branches dipping down into the liquid. Clean, cool air drifted around her, lightly ruffling her fur. Such a drastic change from her destroyed homeland.

The moonlight lit up her gold and ruby gaze, glinting lightly off the bright yellows that covered her head, forelegs, and torso. Her haunches and hind legs could have disappeared into the darkness of the night if not for the light touches of a paler gray mixed among the black. She stood in one of the shallow streams, letting the water rush over her paws. It seemed like no matter how many times she washed out her fur it still seemed like she could feel the ash clinging to her.

Her expression was flat, hiding the confusion she was feeling inside. She hadn't found any of her pack mates since arriving here, wherever "here" was. Silently, she prayed that they made it out of the storm okay and that her worst fears weren't realized.

He didn?t often venture beyond the borders of Valhalla. Why should he? His home had all he needed. Family, Friends, Pack. Valhalla. It was all there, nestled in a beautiful area of Alacritia?s vast continent. But, today, he had little to do, other than nap; his patrol was over for the day, until tomorrow morning. So he decided to take one of his rare trips outside the pack. Only, he hadn?t expected to wander quite so far. His paws had taken him north, and now, the moon rose as he came upon a grove of willows. His eyes lit up slightly. Erani was low on Willowbark, he recalled her saying? May as well collect some for her. He padded forward, but paused as a foreign scent crossed his nose.

He swiveled his head, ears perking, eyes sweeping the surroundings, before he started forward, paws falling silently as he moved. Until he was aware of whom was near him, he would remain on guard. As he found the stranger, he waited for a moment, hidden in the shadows of a willow, the dragging fronds between himself and the female. The only point of distinction for him was the small four point star marking on his brow. This female?s coloring was? Unique. Yellows, creams, golds; these took up the forward half of her body, while ashen grays and midnight black engulfed her hind end. Her eyes were rather like Ashtoreth's gaze, except that this mixture was f burning ruby and bright gold, intense, even though they were flat with emotion.

Like a piece of shadow, he stepped out of the darkness, into the moonlight. His frame was powerful, despite his age, and with his thick ruff and full tail, his angular, sophisticated head and strong narrow muzzle, he was an impressive creature. Any foreboding would be set at ease by the kindness that shone in his mismatched gaze of gold and blue. ?Good evening, Lady.? Deep baritones held a faint Irish lilt, warm and gentle. ?You seem troubled. May I ask what ails you??

Good evening, Lady." The voice barely registered with her. It took several moments for her to even turn her gaze and realize another wolf was standing near her. She blinked, pulling herself out of her thoughts. Everything felt surreal and hard to comprehend. It felt like all of this could be a dream. Or worse, with the moonlight on them it felt like this could be the afterlife.

Her gaze briefly roamed over form, her head tilting a bit to the side in curiosity. Besides the white mark on his forehead and the two-toned colors of his eyes there was a complete lack of color or pattern in his coat. She had never considered her gold and black fur extremely bright compared to some of her pack mates, but his pelt was... She wasn't sure how to describe it.

Libra realized he had asked a question and she gave a little shake of her head, turning her body to face him, her paws sloshing gently through the water. "There's nothing you could do about it," she replied sadly, her voice a soft, lilting tone. "My pack as far as I know is gone and I have no idea where I am, if you really want to know." She shed no tears, her voice didn't break. She wouldn't show weakness to this stranger.

ooc: so I don't know if you noticed this, but I kind of accidentally made this thread in Seracia territory so that could be interesting xD

Paws lead her on, going over the borders of her home with head held high. Her single orb was searching, looking for particular members of her pack. Wolves had been disappearing left and right... Not even telling her that they were leaving. It was highly concerning... And the Queen was determined to call a meeting soon. But first she was doing some last minute things... Checks and whatnot of the borders. Trying to make sure that there were no foreign scents or signs that the missing members of Seracia might have been taken by force.

It was then that the dark woman would catch the scents of two other wolves. Male and Female... And close to Seracia?s borders. The one held a scent she thought she might recognize... But she couldn?t place it. Certainly a pack wolf, however. The woman would amble on, moving silently up upon them. The moon provided some hint as to her presence... But darkness was Destruction?s element of surprise... For her dark coat would, for the most part, blend in with the shadows that surrounded her.

She would arrive just as the woman answered the pack wolf, and Destruction would step from the shadows, single crimson ringed white eye falling upon the pair. ?Very, very close to the borders of Seracian lands.? Truth be told they were pretty much in the lands already but... With so few wovles patrolling the borders and keeping the markings on them strong she wasn?t sure where things lay anymore and certainly didn't expect others to. Seracia needed more members.

Destruction would not show aggression though. ?I am the Queen of Seracia, actually. I am Destruction... And if you need a temporary place to rest and gather your strength while you figure out a plan to search for your pack you are welcome to stay here.? Her eyes would turn to the male now, finally recognizing the scent he bore.

?You bear the scent of the plains... Does Valhalla still reside there under the rule of Chrysanthe?? Old allies... Something else she needed to check in on... And perhaps make some new ones as well.
