Caw Caw!

I'll fly with a murder of crows.
In all his life, the god had never seen one of the black birds. Perhaps there was not enough carrion about for the flesh-eaters? Or were they simply flying in the grey boiling skies above? Why could the god not fly to them all, like in the stories he had been told? Burning irises flickered as the obsidian mass sauntered through a gulley, almost admiring the scenery, but yet still with eyes focused forwards. His banner would catch at his heels at times, as his sharp frame would traverse the landscape.
The sun would appear for a brief moment, and the world was plunged into daylight, but one peculiar spot would glow unnaturally and shimmer. 'What the hell is that?' He only could slither forth, now slink-like for defense should this shiny thing attack him. Just before the sun hid itself behind the clouds, he discovered a strange bird's nest, woven with normal material, but... it was lined with jewelry?! What creature hoarded shiny things and put it in their nest? He would inhale, and past the metallic scents of iron and gold, he could smell a recent bird's visit. A crow?! He would slowly step back and lie down, paying his respects to the presence of the crow should it come soon. Hopefully the gods would not bring damnation and hell upon him simply for poking in a nest of the holy birds. He then stood up, his nose tingling as he almost heard a sharp caw nearby. He narrowed his eyes and searched the skies.
But Rome wasn't built in a day. To Heaven or to Hell only time will tell.

The bird had left his most prized nest for not that long, keeping his shinies save was a big deal to him. He had just found a new shiny, a dull and rusted spoon that he had found on the Range. It was clutched in his claws as he glided towards his nest, about to reach it when a nosy wolf sniffed at it. "Oi! Oi!" He called, circling around the wolf before he dropped the spoon into his nest. "What does woof want with B's shines. Those are B's! No silly woof can take them!" Landing on his nest B stretched out his wings to hide his most prized possessions behind him, his green striped crest bobbing as he inspected the wolf.
Making an uneasy caw B shuffled this way and that, blocking the black and white wolf from his nest. B had many nests, but this was the one where he kept all of his stuff, and didn't want anyone even looking at his shines. Clacking his beak together, the crow's feathers ruffled as he got ready to fight off the wolf. Well, if he wolf snapped the scardie bird would most likely fly away, but still. Shh, the wolf didn't have to know that! Right now he was too focused on getting that silly wolf away from his shines. They were all his, no one could have one.

I'll fly with a murder of crows.
Suddenly birds. A sharp caw split his ears. "Oi! Oi!" He would watch as a magnificent crow circled above him, an object clutched in its talons before depositing it into the shimmering nest it had created. It's large wings stretched wide to protect the nest, but the obsidian bulk did not care about that. What intrigued him was the size and appearance of this crow. A crown of emerald and obsidian rested upon it's head, and piercing yellow eyes glimmered in the failing light.
Then it hit him. "King Krovus! God of all crows, I would not dare tamper with your treasures. I was only curious to see them." The demon would bow in utmost respect then looked once more at the bird shuffling from side to side. This crow sure did look unique, and was very protective in nature. Just what was in that nest of his?

The crow settled down when the wolf bowed to him, although calling himself the god of crows confused him. "God of crows? B doesn't remember voting for you, caw!" He said, his head bobbing from side to side in confusion. "King Krovus is too long for B, caw! B will call you Kro." After he said it, he realized that Kro sounded a lot like crow. "Oi! Kro is a crow! A woof crow!" He said, a cackling laughter making his beak clack together. This wolf was funny, but he liked him. He said that he just wanted to see his treasures, his shinies. B lowered his wings and hopped to the side, letting the wolf see the jewels that he held within. His yellow eyes were narrowed however, and he was quite ready to peck at Kro if he dared touch them.
B was very protective over his shinies, it was a rare thing to even let someone see them. "Kro is lucky, yes yes! Kro is the first woof-crow to see B's shinies. Many times collecting, caw! Many long flights to find them, and B got into some fights to get them!" His eyes narrowed further until he was looking out at the dark wolf with squinted eyes. "If woof-crow Kro takes one, B will attack! B has sharp beak and sharp claws, caw!" Pleased with his warning, he opened his wings and half hopped half glided onto Krovus's back, flapping his winging until he was balanced between his shoulder blades. There, now if he took something he couldn't run away! B has him trapped, so very trapped.
