She had finally wandered south, heading towards something warmer and more peaceful as autumn began to draw towards a close. Winter had given the air a harsher bite than June was used to, and she intended to drift south at least until winter began to wane. Maybe then she could once again seek out Gus without feeling bad about bothering him too much. Especially now that he'd joined a pack, he would need his space, she was sure. Sure enough that she wouldn't even ask him that for fear that he would affirm this idea. And so June had headed south, allowing her paws to carry her smoothly across the soil as she retreated for the warmer lands that she would feel more at peace in.

After all, June Kalendae was a summer wolf at heart. Warm weather and beaches and good hunts would always be her calling. She understood that winter was a necessary time of rest and rejuvenation for the earth (how many times had her mother told her that during her first winter?), but that didn't mean that June had to enjoy it. Warmth had always been her calling - after all, her mother had been named Summer. Perhaps, then, it was understandable that June would be most drawn to the southern lands as winter began to approach.

There didn't seem to be any other wolves in the area, June noted absently as she wandered. Her tail swished absently in the air, and June made her way along easily enough, not seeming particularly hurried. Her ambling pace seemed to have only one true direction, and that was south, though she would occasionally drift from her arrow-like path, only to return to it once more after a few moments of snuffling and exploring.
