What in the world did she hope to find? Why did she torture herself like this? She had been hanging around the territories that surrounded the pack that Bane and his little family called home. She wouldn't dare go to its borders. No, that would run too much of a risk of seeing him again. Instead she lurked and she lingered. Why? She wanted to see her son. She didn't know what Bane had told Nako about her or what Nako remembered of her, but she wanted to see him. She needed to see him. She could only hope at this point that the boy would eventually wander past the Ebony borders so she could find him.

As she continued her search she wondered why she even wanted to see him. It had been so long. So, so long. He had a new family now, siblings, a pack. Who was she to disrupt that? She stalked Serpent Plains grumpily. She should just leave. Go find Creedence again or maybe find herself another pack to join. Anything but pine over her long lost pup.

Nako didn't know how long she had been around. But it induced a reserved amount of curiosity. What excactly was Alena doing around Ebony? His mother, his real mother, was roving outside of Ebony. Nako could smell her in the mountain breeze, the same breeze that ruffled the half dozen feathers situated along his neck. The tokens were gained that day he left her, or rather taken. He had his father to thank for that.?From where he stood below the rise hill where the lake was Nako could look down at the plains beneath their mountain. Sensing movement that wasn't just snow drizzling down from the sky. White moved along white down there.

With an anxious step he found his body moving, not telling anybody where he was going on this personal endeavor. He meandered down the mountain slope with some haste, the want to have her stay a few more moments growing the further he trekked. The yearlings pace grew quicker as he hit flat ground and left the forest behind. Nako didn't want to lose her. As much as the grey wolf wanted to howl he couldn't so close to the packlands least a curious wolf come and see why he called a stranger. But Alena was no stranger. She was his mother. Nako let out a bark when he saw her, paws still drumming him closer to one who brought him into this world. Nothing could change that fact, and Nako treasured that about Alena even if she was busy with Amenti when they were born and their relationship next to being foreign at the current moment. "Mom!"
