It wasn't too often that the new queen left her territory, but every once in a while it was good to get out, stretch her legs, and stake out the territories that surrounded her own. After all, it wasn't good enough to know her pack lands, she needed to know the areas that surrounded it. Eventually she would visit every part of Alacritis, but for now she would keep to the northern lands. She liked to be a comfortable distance from Glaciem so that if needed she could run back on swift paws. Today she found herself at the mines, a place she had visited a couple of times before. She remembered seeing Genesis here for the first time in ages and she was able to smile at the memory now that he was back in Glaciem with her. She padded gingerly through the remnants of an unknown past that littered the area as she stood just outside the opening of the mines, her ears flicking this way and that to listen to the area around her. She wondered who or what would surprise her this time on this chilly afternoon. Speech Thought

The mines were among the best place that B found all his shinnies. There was even shiny rocks for him to take! He liked all things that were shiny, so rocks were okay. The large crow hopped around on the dusty mine floor, his yellow eyes looking around anything that shone in the dull light. It was then that he heard a slight rustling sound, one that matched the sounds of a creature. But there was something else that caught his attention. The sound of metal clacking. That meant that there was something shiny on that creature, and he must have it.

B half hopped, half glided out of the maw of the mines. A silver wolf with two shiny things around her legs was standing there. His head bobbed, his green crown of feathers shaking to and fro as he slowly hopped towards the wolf. His wings were not fully settled on his sides, he was ready to fly away at a moments notice. Slowly he made his way up to her, pecking at the gold shinnies. "B wants these." He cawed, poking at them again and again as he tried to figure out how to pull them off her legs. "Why are they stuck woof, caw! B wannnntss them." He said, drawing out the word as he again poked at shiny things.

Athena's ears perked up at the soft sound of something moving against the rocky ground and when she lifted her two-toned gaze she was surprised to see a dark-colored bird hopping toward her. Her curiosity held her in place, her gaze following the bird as it got closer and closer. Suddenly it surprised her by reaching out and pecking at her bracelets, making her blink with surprise and jerk her paw back away from him. That didn't seem to deter him any since he continued to peck at them, even when she took a step back away from him. Her head tipped to the side as she watched him, though it surprised her even more when he spoke, stating what she thought was his name and his desire for her bracelets. "They're stuck because they are mine, bird. Haven't you ever heard of finders keepers, losers weepers?" She smirked, amused by the whole situation. Speech Thought
